Subway Singapore has achieved full halal certification across all 131 outlets, representing a significant milestone after the franchise stopped serving pork products in 2018 to meet MUIS (Islamic Religious Council of Singapore) strict requirements. This global submarine sandwich chain now offers complete halal dining for Muslim customers, making their extensive menu accessible to Singapore's diverse population.
The restaurant specializes in customizable submarine sandwiches available in 6-inch and foot-long sizes, prepared fresh before your eyes with a wide assortment of halal-certified meats, cheeses, vegetables and toppings on freshly baked bread. Popular menu items include the tender Chicken Teriyaki, zesty Italian B.M.T.®, hearty Roasted Chicken, and the unique Chilli Crab Sub that blends traditional Singapore flavors with the iconic Subway experience.
After almost seven months of transition process, all Subway restaurants in Singapore now display official MUIS halal certificates, ensuring compliance with Islamic dietary laws. This transformation from 22 years of serving non-halal items to complete halal certification demonstrates Subway's commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, making them a trusted choice for Muslims seeking convenient, customizable sandwich options across the island.

The soup bowl has shrunk in size, and the footlong meal with a cookie and soup now costs $20, with the sizes also shrinking. The staff also lied about the soup bowl size being the same until another customer in the queue pointed it out.

Poor service attitude by “Lovely’s Way”. The sandwich artist was unwilling to serve customers according to their order preferences and kept rushing us to make payment when we hadn't even finished telling her what vegetables we wanted in our sandwich.
There was only one person in the queue after us, so I couldn't understand why she had such a bad attitude.

Subway sandwiches are always yummy. However, the new waffle fries were too little and soggy after takeaway.

As an American living in Singapore for the past 5 years, and having grown up with Subway in every American town, I've only visited Subway three times since living here. Each time, I've ordered the Subway Melt, including recently at the Redhill outlet near my home. This particular location at Bukit Timah Plaza was packed. I counted four staff members behind the counter. As I watched the worker prepare my Subway Melt, she put only a single slice of bacon on it. When I asked if I could have the standard amount of bacon, she stated, “This is the standard.” Confused, as I had recently eaten at another Subway in Singapore where they used more than one slice, I replied, “I don’t think that’s the standard. In fact, I know it isn’t.” She showed no care and said, “It will cost you extra,” and shrugged her shoulders. I was a bit shocked and almost walked away. However, I proceeded as I was in a hurry for my next appointment. Out of curiosity, I checked Subway's website just now. It states “crispy pieces of bacon strips” – “STRIPS,” as in plural. Another source mentioned four pieces of bacon as the ingredients. When I informed the worker, she simply laughed at me. Wow. It seems petty to skimp on ingredients at a place that was fully packed. It's almost as petty as me writing this review, which I rarely do for bad experiences. It's mostly due to the worker's attitude towards the situation; she was also the only one not visibly wearing a name tag. I've given it 2 stars because it still tasted good enough, but the Subway Melt deserves crispy pieces of bacon strips. Lol.

An open-concept Subway restaurant located on the ground floor of Bukit Timah Plaza. The service is good, and the food is standard fare. It's usually frequented by students from the surrounding schools when they come to hang out at Bukit Timah Plaza.

My wrap and other sandwiches were very nicely wrapped by this female staff member. (15th Jan 2023 at 11:23 am) They were easy to open, hold, and eat. Well done. The place is also clean and neat. Keep it up.

A good place for a hearty meal. There are limited vegetarian options. I went here for dinner and really liked the sandwiches they serve. I also love the value meal where you can get 2 sandwiches, cookies, and a drink. Absolutely delicious! The sandwich was soft, delicious, and had a slight crunch from the veggies. I really enjoyed the soft and fudgy cookie as it melted and crumbled in my mouth. Overall, a good place.

I used to visit this Subway outlet on a weekly basis. Then I took a "break" and had my Subway fix at its other outlets. However, returning to this outlet today was very rewarding. Although I had to wait a while to get a table to dine in, as there was a big crowd at Bukit Timah Plaza today, on a Saturday. Anyway, I ordered my usual Tuna Wrap and added a Small Meal Deal to it. I was highly satisfied by the service at the counter, the taste and mouthfeel of my Tuna Wrap, the Zero Sugar drinks option available here (I had a Fanta Orange Zero), and of course, the Subway macadamia cookie. The only thing that let me down was the dine-in situation. There were just too many people who had either finished their meal but proceeded to linger and do other things at the table, or lone diners occupying a table for four. Perhaps the staff here could do something about this when genuine diners are in need of a table.
