Supuramen opened in February 2019 at Our Tampines Hub, bringing halal-certified Japanese ramen to the heartlands with exceptional value pricing – nothing on the menu exceeded 1. The restaurant emphasised quality through handmade daily noodles and broths free from artificial flavourings and preservatives, developed by a master chef who spent years honing his craft in Japan.

The commitment to authentic preparation methods distinguished Supuramen from competitors relying on pre-packaged soup bases or frozen noodles. Making noodles fresh daily requires significant labour and skill, while developing natural, preservative-free broths demands time and quality ingredients. These efforts delivered heaping bowls of warm, comforting ramen that balanced authenticity with affordability.

The cosy establishment in Tampines attracted Muslim diners who previously had limited access to ramen, a Japanese staple typically prepared with pork-based broths. Supuramen's halal certification opened this beloved comfort food to new audiences while maintaining the soul-warming qualities that make ramen universally appealing.

However, Supuramen has since permanently closed. While it operated, the restaurant demonstrated demand for affordable, authentic halal Japanese ramen in Singapore's heartland areas.
