Waited more than 40 minutes for this chicken cutlet hor fun. I understand it's during dinner time and that takeaway orders will be heavy then. But the very least the worker could do is tell customers that the wait will be long as they have many orders to handle. If they had done that, at least the customer wouldn't feel so frustrated for waiting so long. But like many typical KPT/food court workers these days (who are just going through the motions), they didn't do that. The taste was forgettable and nothing special.

The service had a bad attitude, and the food served was not hygienic. I saw the person preparing it using their bare hands without gloves, and the same hands for collecting notes. Please reconsider.

Very slow service. The food is not bad, but they don't accept CDC vouchers? All the other stalls accept them. This feels like double standards. What is the reason Tasty Qok in Loyang Point doesn't accept them?

A tze char stall serving assorted Chinese dishes. I had the salted egg chicken rice and seafood noodles. Ate for sustenance, not pleasure.

You can't miss this stall as it's located at the entrance of the food court. The food display is beautiful, and the prices are reasonable. I ordered the seafood fried udon. Unfortunately, it lacked wok hei and was a bit too sweet for my liking. The taste was hard to pinpoint – a cross between Hong Kong mee and char kway teow. The portion is adequate for $6.90, and the saving grace was that the two prawns were fresh. I also ate some tiny bits of squid. The free soup came as a pleasant surprise and helped to balance the sweetness of the udon.

New halal-certified stall at the food court of Hougang Mall. Service is quite fast. Fried rice or noodles come with a complimentary soup. The sambal belachan is quite nice. Tried their chicken fried rice; it was not too bad, but it did make me thirsty. Reasonably priced and quite popular with the diners.

Went to the Joo Chiat outlet. The curry fish head was great, truly curry-type and not so coconut milk-based. It had more spices and a lot of vegetables, unlike some places that don't include many. Here, there were plenty of vegetables. Worth it, I guess. The mantou was also the best – soft and fluffy inside, crispy outside. It was sooooooo nice eating mantou with the curry.

I always go here almost every day since it's nearby my place. Personally, I love their Thai-style chicken cutlet with fried rice. The cashier is always friendly and smiles while serving me. I prefer their fried foods (nasi goreng, mee goreng, etc.) over their gravies. I once tried their prawn paste chicken too, and it was amazing.

A very prominent food stall at this newly opened food court at Hougang Mall. They mainly offer all the zi-char cuisines, from single meals to family dishes.
During my first time trying their food, the cashier made a mistake with my order, even though I had already paid via PayNow. I informed them after about 3 minutes. They apologized, amended the order, and immediately refunded a dollar coin. Their service attitude was very good, making my order worthwhile if their food is delicious.
Finally, I ordered one of my favorite dishes, which I haven't tasted in a long time ~ Malay Mee Goreng. Yes, it was good and delicious. Some might say it was too sweet, but honestly, it would be too much if the Mee Goreng turned out to be too spicy.
The ingredients used, like the prawns and sotong, were fresh and didn't taste like frozen seafood. Overall, it was very well cooked. I will definitely recommend it to everyone. Even though their unit price was slightly more expensive than usual coffeeshops, this stall is located in a newly air-conditioned food court that is clean and tidy. So, the higher pricing is somewhat reasonable.
