The restaurant name, derived from telur meaning egg in Malay, reflects their specialization in creative egg preparations that showcase Thai culinary creativity while honoring traditional cooking techniques. This unique focus has created a dining concept that distinguishes Telur Thai from conventional Thai restaurants through innovative interpretations of classic dishes.

Operating multiple convenient locations including Tampines Mall Level 4 within the Kopitiam food court, Paya Lebar Square, IMM Shopping Mall in Jurong East, Northpoint City, Hillion Mall, Singapore General Hospital, and Pasir Ris Mall, with additional outlets planned for expansion, Telur Thai ensures accessible service throughout Singapore while maintaining consistent quality standards and authentic preparation methods.

The signature Golden Pad Thai Egg Floss represents the restaurant creative pinnacle, transforming the beloved Thai street food classic into a visually stunning and texturally complex dish that combines traditional pad thai flavors with innovative egg floss preparations. This signature creation demonstrates how traditional recipes can evolve while maintaining their essential cultural authenticity.

The family-sized Thai omelette showcases traditional Thai egg preparations at their finest, featuring fluffy, aromatic omelettes brimming with traditional spices that create warming, satisfying comfort food experiences. These generous portions make it ideal for sharing among families and groups while providing exceptional value for money.

Menu offerings extend beyond egg specialties to encompass comprehensive Thai cuisine traditions, including the Golden Tom Yum Soup Egg Floss that combines the beloved hot and sour soup with innovative egg presentations, Thai Basil Minced Chicken with Rice and Egg that delivers the classic flavors of pad kra pao enhanced with fresh egg preparations, and Thai Basil Tofu with Rice and Egg that provides vegetarian-friendly options without compromising traditional Thai flavor profiles.

Premium offerings include Thai Steamed Seabass with Lime Sauce that showcases the delicate preparation methods and bright, citrusy flavors that define refined Thai cuisine. This dish demonstrates the restaurant commitment to both traditional techniques and premium ingredients that elevate the dining experience beyond casual food court expectations.

The tom yum fried rice perfectly balances the signature hot and sour flavors that define this iconic Thai soup in a convenient rice dish format, while the signature Thai basil chicken arrives sizzling with aromatic herbs that create engaging sensory experiences combining visual presentation with exceptional aromas and flavors.

Most dishes maintain wallet-friendly pricing around S0-12, making authentic Thai cuisine accessible to diverse economic backgrounds while ensuring generous portions that provide satisfying meal experiences. This value proposition reflects the restaurant commitment to democratizing access to quality Thai cuisine.

The experienced Thai chefs bring authentic preparation methods and traditional spice knowledge that ensure each dish maintains the complex flavor profiles that define exceptional Thai cuisine. Recent halal certification achievements have expanded accessibility for Muslim diners who previously had limited options for authentic Thai cuisine, making Telur Thai an important addition to Singapore halal dining landscape. This certification process demonstrates the restaurant commitment to serving diverse communities with respect and cultural sensitivity.

The food court and mall locations provide casual, accessible dining environments that encourage exploration of Thai cuisine without intimidation factors that might discourage first-time diners. These settings combine authentic flavors with comfortable, familiar dining contexts that appeal to various age groups and cultural backgrounds.

Delivery partnerships with major platforms extend Telur Thai reach beyond physical locations, allowing customers to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine from home or office while maintaining the same temperature, presentation, and flavor standards that define the restaurant dining experience.

3 stars for mediocre Thai food! I come to this food court quite often, and this time I decided to try the cashew nut chicken from this stall. It wasn't bad, but nothing special either.

Bad experience. We waited half an hour for two simple dishes, and the food was below sub-par. They say you get what you pay for; if that's the case, I should have gotten this for free. They seem to be focused on Grab orders, ignoring the long queue. If you don't have time to take orders, don't do Grab. Hehe. Anyone who tells you the food is good is probably lying.

Disappointing Experience Due to Staff Attitude I rarely write negative reviews, but my recent visit to this outlet left me extremely disappointed—not because of the food, but because of the unprofessional behavior of the staff. Hospitality is a huge part of any dining experience, and sadly, that was completely missing here. It’s a shame because the food itself was decent, but the negative attitude of the staff completely ruined the meal for us. ⸻ ⚠️ Suggestion to Management: To the Management, I strongly urge you to address the conduct and customer service standards of your staff. What we experienced was not just poor service—it bordered on outright disrespect. If this behavior is not corrected promptly through proper training and accountability, it will continue to damage your restaurant’s reputation and deter loyal customers. Please take this feedback seriously. A beautiful ambiance and great food mean little when customers are made to feel unwelcome or disrespected. Sincerely, A disappointed (and now former) customer

First time trying out this Thai food stall. The olive fried rice is quite nice. However, getting a seat and table at the Kopitiam food court can be quite hard during peak hours.

I got the seafood glass noodles salad and topped up $4 for a small bowl of tom yum soup with four small spring rolls. The salad was quite nice. The tom yum soup and spring rolls were just okay.

Really good Thai food served here. They recently obtained their Halal certification as well. Their Thai Basil chicken rice was really good – opt for the set with a choice of drink and side. It's worth the money. The minced chicken was juicy, flavourful, and slightly salty, just the way it should be. I also ordered Pad Thai, and it tasted good too! The portion size was good as well. I will definitely come back to try other dishes.

On Thursday, 22 May 2025, I had Thai-style fried fish in Thai chilli sauce with rice and egg for lunch at Cantine by Kopitiam food court in Causeway Point, Woodlands. I really enjoyed this meal as the Thai-style fried fish with rice and egg tasted very delicious. Overall, the service provided was very good, and I would love to try other Thai dishes (except for pork and beef) from the other Telur Thai outlets in the future.
