Time for Thai represents the authentic spirit of Thailand's culinary traditions brought to Singapore's halal dining scene, strategically located along the vibrant Cheong Chin Nam Road in Bukit Timah, which has evolved into a renowned late-night dining destination. Since its establishment, this MUIS halal-certified restaurant has distinguished itself by employing a team of Thai chefs who bring genuine expertise and traditional cooking techniques to every dish, ensuring that the authentic flavors of Thai cuisine are preserved while adhering to Islamic dietary requirements. The restaurant's extended operating hours until midnight on weekdays and 2am on weekends make it a crucial late-night dining option for Singapore's Muslim community seeking genuine Thai flavors.

The menu at Time for Thai showcases the full spectrum of Thai cuisine, featuring signature dishes like the popular Oyster Omelette ($13.90), fragrant Olive Fried Rice ($6.90), traditional Dough Fritters with Sangkaya ($4.90), aromatic Tom Yum Goong with Coconut Milk ($7.90), and hearty Beef Noodles Soup ($9.90). The kitchen prioritizes fresh ingredients and authentic preparation methods, with each dish delivering the complex balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy flavors that defines genuine Thai cooking. The restaurant's commitment to authenticity extends to its no GST and service charge policy, maintaining the accessible pricing structure characteristic of authentic Thai eateries.

Despite facing the common challenge of adapting traditionally non-halal Thai cuisine to halal standards, Time for Thai has successfully maintained the authentic taste profiles that Thai food enthusiasts expect, earning recognition for serving some of Singapore's most genuine halal Thai cuisine. The restaurant's willingness to accept advance orders for groups and its integration into the Beauty World supper scene demonstrate its commitment to community service and late-night dining culture. Time for Thai continues to serve as a vital bridge between Thailand's rich culinary heritage and Singapore's diverse halal dining landscape, proving that authentic flavors can transcend dietary restrictions.

Ordered the Tom Yum Mama noodles. Unfortunately, it was way too hot. Waited 15 minutes, but it was still piping hot. I'm a fan of their other dishes, but this wasn't it. The flavour was good, but I think it would be nicer to use chicken slices as the chunks made it hard to remove the skin in the bowl of soup.

Ordered Tom Yum Fried Rice (less spicy, with extra egg) and Pad Thai. They forgot the egg, which also means they missed the "less spicy" request. It was extremely spicy, full of chili, and I couldn't even taste the tom yum. The Pad Thai portion was rather sad for $7.90. The only authentic thing about this place are the 1-star reviews it has.

Experienced bad service here. I requested chopsticks, and the lady just threw them on the table. Additionally, a staff member started mopping the floor during peak dinner hour (8pm). I kindly reminded her, but she didn't think there was an issue. I later found out she is actually a manager. To the management, please ensure your managers are well-trained. I believe the other staff members' service and attitude are much better than hers.

We ordered Seafood Pad Thai and Fried Glass Noodles via the self-service kiosk. The food was served directly to our table, even though a buzzer was provided. Although we were dining in, the food was served on paper plates with plastic utensils, which I feel affected the dining experience. The portion size was good. The taste was strong in flavor, but overall not bad. Food presentation could be improved. Total damage was $22.80, including two drinks.

Delicious Tom Yum Fried Rice! You really have to try it to believe it. The portion was huge! I placed my fork into the fried rice to show its depth, making it even more value for money for such a large portion of nice Tom Yum Fried Rice. I've tried the Pad Thai and Basil Chicken before, and they were slightly above average. But the Tom Yum Fried Rice has to be my current favourite.

If you miss Thai food, go to Time for Thai in Singapore. The prices are reasonable and, most importantly, the food tastes great. I was so happy when I saw the menu. They have vegetarian versions of almost everything, like Vegetarian Tom Yum fried rice, Olive fried rice, and Vegetarian Pad Thai. I had to have my all-time favourite Green Curry with Thai Milk Tea. The Vegetarian Green Curry Fried Rice tastes heavenly; highly recommended. Go enjoy, life's short.

I've been a fan of Time for Thai from their Bukit Timah outlet. This new "express" outlet certainly did not disappoint either. We ordered the basil chicken with rice set and the tomyum rice noodle soup set. Each set comes with a drink. We also ordered additional stuffed chicken wings. The sets were very affordable and great value for money, with very generous portions. The tomyum soup had the right amount of sourness and wasn't too spicy to drink. The basil chicken was quite spicy, even though I requested less spicy. The taste was among the best. The stuffed chicken wings were a little pricey at $10.90, but they were delicious. I will definitely return. Recommended!

We bought chicken basil rice and drunken mama noodles. Forgot to take a picture of the basil rice. Anyway, the chicken basil rice is nice, the portion is quite generous, and the price is really affordable. The drunken mama noodles are also nice; the beef is delicious and tender. It comes with some vegetables: long beans, carrots, and small corn. The egg in the picture is not from the noodles :) If you can eat spicy food, try it spicier. For me, more spice is acceptable and doesn't kill the flavour or your palate, so you can still enjoy it.
