Warung Dimsum operates as a pioneering halal dim sum establishment at 925 Yishun Central 1, #01-211, Kedai Kopi, bringing authentic handmade dim sum to Singapore's Muslim community in a neighborhood setting. This Muslim-owned restaurant operates daily from 9AM to 9PM (or until sold out), filling a significant gap in the halal dining scene by offering traditional Chinese dim sum adapted to meet Islamic dietary requirements. Located within Kedai Kopi, the restaurant benefits from the traditional coffeeshop atmosphere while introducing innovative dim sum concepts to the Yishun residential area.
The restaurant's signature offering is their Coriander Chicken Pau (.50), featuring soft, fluffy bao generously stuffed with juicy minced chicken and aromatic coriander shreds that provide a refreshing lift without overwhelming the savory chicken filling. Their premium selection includes the palm-sized Premium Jumbo Nury Pau (), packed with multiple ingredients including hard-boiled egg, salted egg yolk, and char siu, alongside traditional offerings like Siew Mai and Har Gao with quality fillings. All bao are handmade in-house daily, ensuring freshness and maintaining the authentic texture and flavors that dim sum enthusiasts expect.
Warung Dimsum has gained recognition for bringing unique halal dim sum options to the neighborhood, particularly noted for their coriander bao that sets them apart from traditional dim sum establishments. The restaurant offers attractive promotions including "buy 5, get 1 free" on their premium or classic halal bites and accepts CDC & SG60 vouchers, making their offerings more accessible to the community. While prices reflect the labor-intensive nature of handmade dim sum preparation, customers appreciate the opportunity to enjoy authentic dim sum without concerns about halal compliance, making Warung Dimsum a valuable addition to Singapore's diverse halal food landscape.

Staff should be more attentive and friendly to morning patrons. We don’t expect big smiles, but a welcoming tone helps whet the appetite. It seems like they are not proud to work in F&B. Breakfast, as the first meal, is always an anticipated affair. When informed all items are available, it’s naturally disappointing to then be told only some items are, especially after paying! We expected a steamed dim sum selection, not fried food. Buck up or you'll fold up, please.

Worst service ever. No menu was provided anywhere, so people just queued blindly. That's why it took so long at the cashier. After 20 minutes of queuing, the cashier simply said they had stopped taking orders for half an hour. This was on a Saturday afternoon, mind you! There's a lot to improve.

Over-priced. $20 for 2 big paus & 3 small siew mai. Not worth the price. Will not patronise again.

I apologize, but the experience was disappointing. There has been so much hype on social media and in advertisements everywhere. When I arrived, the cashiers were rude, and when I asked why the food was so cold, one of them simply ignored me. Some of the food was hard and stuck to the plate. I traveled all the way from the east side for this.

I'm really happy to see a Muslim-friendly dim sum option. The taste is nice, and I truly appreciate the halal concept. I just hope the shop can upgrade a bit in terms of presentation — maybe by adding sauces like soy sauce and vinegar, and serving the dim sum in traditional baskets instead of just plates. It would really enhance the experience. Keep up the good work.

Finally, I made it to Warung Dim Sum… all the way from Pasir Ris! A value for money meal. Good food and friendly service, even during the lunch time crowd. Dim sum is best paired with a plate of noodles or rice. Definitely coming back again. Keep up the good work, guys!

Decided to try the halal dim sum. Loved the fast queue. One person was manning the cashier and another was preparing the food. The price is a bit steep; one chicken and coriander pau is $5.50. We bought about 10 items. Some came in 2 pieces and some in 3, as is usual in any dim sum shop. But do note that some pieces are very small. Overall, we spent a total of $61.50. We had a buy 5 get 1 free offer, and the price became $58.50. The food is delicious, but if you are very hungry, you might want to reconsider. We enjoyed the food because it's good, though the sizes of the pieces are small. There were three of us adults eating. You can look at the attached picture. Do note that it's standard pricing for dim sum. But overall, the food is delicious and it was worth it.
