Yang's Epok-Epok began with a cherished family recipe passed down from Madam Yang Hassan's grandmother, which proved so irresistible that it evolved from a home kitchen specialty into a thriving business. Since launching at Bedok Corner Hawker Centre in 2016, this family-run operation has captured the hearts of curry puff enthusiasts across Singapore with their commitment to traditional, handmade preparation.

What distinguishes Yang's from other epok-epok vendors is their dedication to crafting everything from scratch. Working alongside her sister who handles the cooking, Madam Yang ensures that both the dough and fillings are made fresh daily by hand. The epok-epok, priced at an affordable $0.70 per piece, comes in three classic varieties: Potato, Sardine, and Vegetables. Their equally popular Banana Fritters (goreng pisang) round out a simple but perfectly executed menu.
