Located at Vision Exchange in Venture Drive, this MUIS halal-certified restaurant was awarded Best Halal Steamboat in 2022, showcasing their commitment to quality halal dining. Muslim-owned and operated by Le Cordon Bleu trained chefs, Chickata provides a unique fusion of Thai and barbecue cuisine using only halal ingredients.
The restaurant specializes in mookata with an extensive menu featuring tom yum chicken, teriyaki chicken, black pepper beef, and black pepper lamb as signature dishes. Diners can choose from Chickata signature chicken-based broth or upgrade to tom yum soup, accompanied by rice, tang hoon, glass noodles, or authentic Thai Mama instant noodles. The experience is enhanced with traditional Thai condiments including Sweet Chili Sauce, spicy Green Thai Chili, and Kicap Manis for the perfect flavor combination.
Operating Tuesday to Friday from 5pm to 11pm and weekends from 1pm to 11pm, Chickata has evolved from a buffet format to an a la carte dining experience while maintaining their halal certification standards.
