This stall serves equally good food, and its prices are better than Sinar Pagi, which one reviewer said you have to go to the bank for. Gerai Nenek has some delicious dishes, although not as many as their neighbour. The stallholders are friendly and obliging and do not overcharge you. This is my third time buying food or eating there, and they do not disappoint. The food is tasty; I packed four packets of fried fish, fried omelette, sambal goreng, and some achaar, and the portions are quite big. Topped up with some Ayam masak lemak gravy and sambal belacan for $7/-, which I consider reasonable. Should I be in the vicinity of Geylang Serai Market, I would patronise this stall again.

Celebrating Chinese New Year, but decided to order some delicious food from Gerai Nenek Obek for my family instead. It came just in time for lunch and received all praises from my family. The food arrived hot even though we stay at far west, and their chilli... gawwddd... it goes so well with all their dishes. Thank you so much G.N.O!

First time trying this dish and I was wowed by the taste of the peanut sauce, sambal sotong, and the freshly fried paru. It's priced at $7 for two meat and two sides, plus steamed kangkong and bean sprouts.

Great tasting authentic Malay dishes are served here. I highly recommend trying the ayam balado (chicken balado) and paru goreng (fried beef lung) especially. Pricing-wise, it's about the same as other nasi padang stalls there (slightly cheaper). I don't really know why other reviews are blasting them about the price.
