Today I went here for breakfast. This was my first and last time. The staff member (an older man) was very rude. I have never experienced such bad service at any restaurant before. If he cannot serve customers better, he should consider other options. It's very bad to treat people so poorly and spoil the early morning mood.

The quality of the food could be better. My laksa tasted sweet, and my toast was burnt on one side while barely toasted on the other.

Bought a toast set. During the 30-minute wait, only the drink and toast were ready. I asked about the eggs, and they said another 15 minutes! I ended up changing to other bread again as I couldn't wait 45 minutes for two eggs. It was as if there were a lot of people there... The next table said they waited 10 minutes for two drinks... I guess they were luckier than me.

Went for a late dinner on 17 Nov 2024. Ordered the Thai cutlet rice. Didn't expect the rice to taste that sweet; it was too sweet for my liking. The cutlet was hard, possibly due to deep frying. Luckily, I ordered the coffee c with less sugar, which somehow balanced the extra sweetness of the rice from the Thai cutlet rice. Overall, not a good dining experience.

My wife and I have ordered delivery many times, and they often forget to pack the sauces that complement the chee cheong fun and soon kueh. This current delivery was the same. What's the point of selling these items when the basic sauces are not included for delivery?

My review is based on my personal experience here on 27 Oct. The beef brisket was great, and the Muslim staff member with the headscarf was very accommodating. I accidentally selected 'takeaway' on the kiosk. Perhaps seeing me settle down with all my belongings on the table, she instinctively double-checked if I truly wanted takeaway or to dine in. Her situational awareness saved us all a lot of hassle.

Visited the cafe in October 2023 while attending a medical emergency. We were happy to see that families had gained a lot of convenience, and that the service and food were good. The mee rebus was tasty, and you could also take cakes and bread to go. The payment process is streamlined, and credit cards are accepted.

Had the fried curry chicken rice set with coffee. The price is reasonable, and the service is fast and effective. The food is alright; the rice is a bit clumpy, but it doesn't matter much as it's covered in curry sauce. The curry sauce itself is good, though nothing particularly special. The fried chicken is boneless and comes as three fillets. It's served with some 'ah char' which helps to make the dish more palatable. The coffee is kopitiam style, so your experience may vary.
