Nine S Coffeeshop operates at Rivervale Shores in Sengkang East Drive, serving as a Muslim-owned food court that brings together multiple dining options under one roof. The coffeeshop features six Muslim-friendly stalls plus a drinks stall, creating a convenient gathering place for the Sengkang residential community.

The variety of cuisines spans Indian, Malay, Asian and Indonesian preparations, allowing diners to choose according to their preferences on any given day. Recent additions include a claypot briyani specialist that slow-cooks fragrant rice with meats in traditional clay pots, delivering intensified flavours and that characteristic slightly crispy bottom layer. Rice bowl specialists offer quick, satisfying meals, while a zi char stall provides home-style Chinese dishes cooked to order.

Other stalls serve nasi padang with daily-changing selections of curries and sambal dishes, and Tenderfresh chicken rice featuring the popular Western-style preparation. This mix of traditional hawker offerings and contemporary preparations ensures the coffeeshop caters to diverse tastes and age groups within the neighbourhood.

The Muslim-owned status and predominance of halal stalls makes Nine S particularly welcoming for Muslim families and diners, though customers should verify the halal certification of individual stalls according to their requirements. The Rivervale Shores location places it conveniently within a residential estate, making it a natural gathering spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper. The coffeeshop format encourages both solo dining and group meals where different parties can order from different stalls.

The Maggie goreng combo is a suitable portion for the price of S$10. It has lots of meat, but the sauce is too sour. The fries are delicious, though the Maggie goreng itself lacks flavour. The Rojak, with 5 choices for S$9.50, has a very thin gravy and lacks peanuts. Most shops here have already closed. Only some halal options are available, such as nasi padang and Tenderfresh. The food and atmosphere do not align with Citaras. Let's eat.

The prata is good. Nice tasting datcha and fish curry. Their coffee costs $1.50, but the black tea was the cheapest I've seen at $0.50.

Tried a few of the Indian dishes from the shop. So far, they're pretty decent. The kosong prata is freshly made on the spot during both dinner and breakfast times, not premade in bulk. The rice dish portions are generous. It's a shame their stall isn't on Google Maps for better visibility.
