Indonesian food lovers can come and 'lepak' here. Outside this outlet, there are plenty of small shops selling Indonesian and Filipino snacks. Everything from little cafes to hair salons, massage, nail care, retail, and chocolate shops can be found here. If you feel lonely, do come here. The vendors are super friendly, engaging, and welcoming.
Love the vibes.

An Indonesian fried dishes restaurant in Lucky Plaza. The food here is great, especially if you come for fried meats and seafood. As other reviewers have highlighted, the portions are small and the service is bad. In my case, after spending $15, I wasn't particularly full, but the taste was pretty good. I also like that ordering is done at the counter, so no service charge was applied. I guess that explains the level of service: I got what I paid for. Overall, it's a good place for a quick bite once in a while, but I doubt I'd crave to come back any time soon.

Amazing, but the quality of the chicken is not as great as before – not crispy and not golden brown in colour. The tamarind soup is also not as tasty as before. Quite a disappointment after craving to eat there! The shop doesn’t have the nice fried chicken smell either… were we too early?

We walked into the restaurant at around 5:30 PM, and there weren't many people inside. Our first impression wasn't great as the person at the counter seemed to miss us standing there for a while. Anyway, we ordered the chicken penyet and tahu telur, dishes we hadn't eaten in some time. We upgraded our white rice to yellow rice and ordered chendol for dessert.
The food arrived at our table rather cold. I was quite surprised, as I had the impression they cooked dishes fresh upon order. The yellow rice was lukewarm and clumpy, though we could still taste a hint of fragrance. The chicken wasn't as crispy as expected, and the tahu telur was also lukewarm. The satay sauce was good, though. The portions for the dishes were also small.
We asked a server to bring the chendol, but we were ignored and told to speak to the cashier. The chendol itself was very underwhelming.
Overall, it was quite a disappointment, and the prices were not cheap either.

The ayam penyet was good. The other chicken I ordered had spicier chili. I also liked the fragrant rice.
Service was quick, served within 5 minutes. I ordered and paid through the app.
It's just that the place is a little bit small and old-fashioned.

Came here for a team lunch, and the location was a good choice because there is so much space! Ventilation was good as well, as the air conditioning was going strong. It was a little too cold, but it's okay when the sambal is spicy. Water is not complimentary, but there is a sink for you to wash your hands afterwards.
Ikan Bawal Bakar is pretty good! I thought the fish looked small, but upon eating, the pomfret was very meaty and fried really well! Super crispy!
I rate: 4/5
Ayam Penyet was their signature dish, and the little fritter bits were really good as well! Though a little small and dry, the flavour is good and goes really well with their sambal.
I rate: 4/5
Telur Taohu is a must buy! It's so fragrant, and the portion size is great for sharing. I drenched my share with the sauce!
I rate: 5/5
We ordered lots of other dishes, and it's a bit hard to write down all. The satay was quite burnt, but the meat was chunky and juicy! Would love it if there were some red onions as well.
Oxtail soup was light, and the meat was tender.
Perkedel (3pc) was not as flavourful, and it was like mashed potatoes in a ball. I would prefer it if there were more spices and small chunks of onion. I could taste a little bit of butter in there, too!

The egg and tahu combination is softly deep-fried and so crunchy, while the tahu's inside remains strong and velvety. The soup is richly flavored with tasty and tender chunks of oxtail, interspersed with bits of fat. For me, the gado gado seasoning lacks the nutty taste and texture, but it's still delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. Overall, a pleasant dining experience!

Truly one of Lucky Plaza’s gems. Dare I say one of Orchard’s best Indonesian casual dining options.
While you’ll never go wrong with the staple Ayam Penyet, this place has a lot more to offer. Their Tahu Telor is divine; rich in flavour with a crispy texture yet soft inside. The Ayam Bakar was also delightful.
The only thing I didn’t fully get was the beef noodle soup, but mainly because of my preconceived notion that such dishes should have a rich, thick broth. This, however, had light rice noodles and a light soup base, similar to Vietnamese Pho. Not saying it wasn’t good – it is! It's just different from the beef soup noodles that I'm used to.
The place is decent, clean, and not crowded. Do try it when you’re down at LP.
