Decent taste, but quite disappointed with the dine-in experience as I had ordered takeaway from them a few times before. My friend's meal had a bug(?) in it, and they only offered to refund her meal. The supervisor seemed unapologetic about it, and we didn't even make a big fuss. Luckily, we didn't suffer any food poisoning from it. The cleanliness of the outlet definitely needs to be looked into, especially the tables etc.

First Impression: Foods: Pempek Palembang: (so-so) Ikan Dori (Fillet) tanpa tulang: (Considered Good) Drink: Barley: Not nice (syrupy), not real barley. Lime Juice: so-so. Ice cendol: The taste is okay but too sweet. Place: Very nice to go hangout and the service is good + faster. Price: Range S$7-S$15 (include drink) / 1 person. Conclusion: Considering the price for two people is S$30, this place is considered expensive. Food for ayam penyet & ikan penyet is considered good, but the drinks are not nice. So, they need to improve again. The place looks okay, wide, and clean. For people who love Indonesian food, you can try this place, but my suggestion is not to buy drinks; it's better to drink mineral water.

The location is easily accessible. The food is okay, average, but the main issue is that the rice is too dry, and the food served was not warm, it was a little cold. Service is alright; the food took some time to arrive after ordering. They should provide more sambal, as it's spicy and nice. The price is acceptable. Overall, it's still a decent place to dine in, but they need to make a lot of improvements to stay competitive and retain regular customers.

I ordered GrabFood. I ordered one ayam bakar, one ayam penyet, and sup sayur asam, but when the order came, I only received the food and not the soup. Very disappointed, as I was looking forward to the soup.

First time dabao from Rivervale Mall. I really love the staff; they were very helpful and friendly, even when I was just dabao-ing. The portion is good compared to other places. And you get what you see from the menu. I say this because I've always been cheated at other branches; they either didn't give me tempeh or didn't give tau gua. ♀️ Will come here to dine in or dabao if I'm craving for ayam/fish penyet.

The ayam penyet was good. The other chicken I ordered had spicier chili. I also liked the fragrant rice. Service was quick, served within 5 minutes. I ordered and paid through the app. It's just that the place is a little bit small and old-fashioned.

One of the best authentic Indonesian cuisine spots in Singapore. Besides the famous ayam penyet rice, my favourites are the ayam bakar rice and sup bontot (oxtail soup). Simply delightful! It's my go-to food place whenever I'm at Compass One. Child seats are available. Usually no queue, and there are ample seats. Food service is speedy. And now they offer delivery too. There's a smoking area just outside.

Came here for a team lunch, and the location was a good choice because there is so much space! Ventilation was good as well, as the air conditioning was going strong. It was a little too cold, but it's okay when the sambal is spicy. Water is not complimentary, but there is a sink for you to wash your hands afterwards. Ikan Bawal Bakar is pretty good! I thought the fish looked small, but upon eating, the pomfret was very meaty and fried really well! Super crispy! I rate: 4/5 Ayam Penyet was their signature dish, and the little fritter bits were really good as well! Though a little small and dry, the flavour is good and goes really well with their sambal. I rate: 4/5 Telur Taohu is a must buy! It's so fragrant, and the portion size is great for sharing. I drenched my share with the sauce! I rate: 5/5 We ordered lots of other dishes, and it's a bit hard to write down all. The satay was quite burnt, but the meat was chunky and juicy! Would love it if there were some red onions as well. Oxtail soup was light, and the meat was tender. Perkedel (3pc) was not as flavourful, and it was like mashed potatoes in a ball. I would prefer it if there were more spices and small chunks of onion. I could taste a little bit of butter in there, too!

The egg and tahu combination is softly deep-fried and so crunchy, while the tahu's inside remains strong and velvety. The soup is richly flavored with tasty and tender chunks of oxtail, interspersed with bits of fat. For me, the gado gado seasoning lacks the nutty taste and texture, but it's still delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. Overall, a pleasant dining experience!
