Always love Old Chang Kee food, but the elderly lady at this branch is VERY RUDE. Old Chang Kee offers many electronic payment options, but this lady was VERY unwilling to accept the ones I wanted to use/redeem. She didn't know how to manage the crowd while we settled our payment options, causing the queue to grow. She then complained that we were the ones holding up the queue -.- I will not patronise this particular shop again.

Today, 09 April, the spring rolls were under-fried , not crispy at all even after taking a bite right after buying them. It was very obvious they weren't golden brown. The food standard has seriously dropped a lot.

After work, I always drop by Bedok Mall to access the bus interchange through the NTUC lift side. In recent months, including today, I have noticed a consistently long queue at your shop. Although I wanted to buy your food to take home, the lengthy wait has deterred me. Today, May 20th at 1846H, I craved your food and patiently waited in line. Regrettably, I was disappointed to see only one staff member, a Chinese auntie, assisting customers. While your Foodpanda service was active, the Chinese auntie commendably managed to accommodate customers and receive orders with energy and enthusiasm. In contrast, two other aunties seemed unconcerned about your business, appearing not to notice the queue. Their failure to assist customers and prepare orders was disturbing. I am not sure if assisting the queue and preparing orders is not part of their job scope. Please check your outlet and your staff; it will probably affect your business.

The staff are always rude! I've passed by many times just to have a look, but they will SHOUT at you that they are NOT open yet! It's not a very nice way to receive a potential customer!

Old Chang Kee is always the best place for quick snacks to fill your stomach and satisfy your taste buds. Their outlets are clean and located in prominent areas. Besides their well-known trademark curry and sardine puffs, I tried the new "Kaya Butter Puff" from Old Chang Kee. I've always loved butter and kaya in traditional Kaya Butter toast from places like Ya Kun or Toast Box, so tasting it in a puff concept was something new and interesting to me. It's 2 for $2.50, but I was glad I had space for just one puff, and it cost a reasonable $1.40. There are ample staff to ensure service is prompt and fast, so you can get your favourite snacks quickly.

I love their chicken wings; they are full of tasty, crispy batter and juicy meat. The big fishball is also great. I will always be in love with their wings. They're fattening but worth it.
