Mr Bean stands as Singapore's leading soy-based food and beverage retail chain, established in 1989 with a mission to reconnect life's simple pleasures through fulfilling and inviting food experiences. Originally starting as a humble family bakery serving the local community with traditional confectioneries and bread, the brand has evolved into a comprehensive halal-certified chain with 64 outlets across Singapore. What makes Mr Bean truly special is its commitment to healthy, soy-based products that cater to both sweet and savory preferences, making it a popular destination for health-conscious consumers seeking halal dining options.
The menu at Mr Bean showcases an impressive variety of soy-centric offerings, from their signature Original Recipe pancakes filled with red bean, tuna, chicken mayo, kaya cheese, and innovative seasonal flavors like Gula Melaka and Curry Chicken with Potato. Their wholesome rice bowls feature meat-free alternatives like Japanese Curry and Truffle Mushroom options, while their beverage selection ranges from classic soy milk at $2.50 to exotic drinks like Icy Sea Salt Chendol at $5.20. The brand also offers nutritious rice balls, silky beancurd, grass jelly combinations, and healthy soy granola bars, ensuring there's something for every dietary preference and taste profile.
Mr Bean's recent achievement of complete MUIS halal certification across all outlets represents a significant milestone in Singapore's inclusive dining landscape, making quality soy-based nutrition accessible to the broader Muslim community. The brand's focus on affordability, with most items priced under $6, combined with their commitment to fresh daily preparation and healthy ingredients, positions them as a cornerstone of Singapore's fast-casual dining scene. Their continuous innovation in developing new flavors while maintaining traditional appeal demonstrates their understanding of evolving consumer preferences and their dedication to serving Singapore's diverse culinary landscape.

The service I received from Rachel was rude, unhelpful, and she never attended to me! It's disappointing that management seems to allow this behaviour to continue. I hope you will address this issue and ensure better service moving forward.

Food and products are expected of a Mr Bean but this particular branch has horrible customer service
The food and products are as expected from Mr Bean, but this particular branch has horrible customer service. On April 18th, I was overcharged for my order, and the staff didn't even apologize or offer a refund or to reverse the charge. They just stared blankly at me and proceeded to take the next customer's order. Consequently, my cup of ice cream cost me a whopping $4.40.

The entire staff is rude and they do not respond to my queries. I stood at the counter for quite a while. Even though staff made eye contact, they did not acknowledge my presence. The service is poor overall. Don't bother ordering anything from there. Just a reminder for other customers to take note.

Their new custard pancake was decent, pretty much like the normal custard you'd get. I'd prefer peanut butter and chocolate though!

5 stars for the cheese pancake, which I tried for the first time. I only ordered one initially, but because I liked it so much, I came back for more. I ended up ordering another five and got one free. Minus one star for the drink. I ordered a taro drink with 50% sugar, which wasn't to my liking. It was also my first time trying it, but I didn't really enjoy it and couldn't really taste the taro.

It's Mr. Bean! A delightful Singaporean chain that offers soya milk, pancakes (Japanese style, I believe?), and other soya bean dishes. It's mainly vegetarian, but not exclusively. This location is conveniently situated in the mall basement, and it's clean and fast. I also enjoy their soya bean with rice balls. Today, I tried the new black soya bean custard pancake, which was very delicious.

Writing a 5-star review to help boost the ratings because of its good food and service. The pancakes, drinks, riceballs, and soy cookies are consistently yummy, and the staff (especially the auntie) are friendly and warm, making you feel like you're talking to a family member. The 29th anniversary promo is also very worth it. Congratulations to Mr Bean on your anniversary, and we look forward to many more!
