The spiced peanut sauce, while having a very nice mouthfeel and texture, is a bit too sweet for my liking. The variety and quality of the other ingredients are just okay. During my visit, the tempeh seemed to be not in the best condition, though it was still perfectly edible. Perhaps I visited at the wrong time.
Echoing other prior comments, I wish the pricing could have been more honest. I bought 5 pieces (similar to medu vada, fish cake, and egg vada, no 'fancy' items like beef lung) and was charged $7, even though the seller initially said it was $5.

Namesake sells, but please do not abuse the trust your patrons give you! Yes, it's a popular store, but be wary when it comes to the final billing, as they tend to overcharge. Most patrons do a double-take when you collect your food. I witnessed a few disputes on the cost when they collected their food, unless you don't mind paying blindly. Though they display the cost of each food category, some state the cost depends on the size, and that is when the disputes arise. The price you will end up paying is at their mercy, and it can be exorbitant. I would advise you to check the total cost involved before they prepare your food. The gravy is on the sweet end, but overall the food is good. It will be more satisfying if they are honest with their trade.

I wouldn't recommend this eatery unless you want to be overcharged. I ordered a takeaway consisting of 2 fried tofu, 2 potatoes, 1 fermented soybean, and 4 prawn fritters, and was charged $23. There were no condiments like chilli or onions either. The gravy is more on the sweet side. It's way too overrated.

This will be my last time patronising this stall due to their exorbitant prices and dishonesty. I ordered a plate of Indian rojak with three items (potato, fishcake & tau hu) and was asked to pay $8. Thinking it might be due to inflation, I proceeded with my order. To my surprise, when I received my dish, I noticed the potato had shrunk by half its size. I questioned them to check if they had mistakenly left some out, and they told me the potato was small-sized. Knowing it would be fruitless to argue, I walked away.

They gave me the wrong takeaway order after I repeatedly asked him to check. Such a joke of a shop! Absolute rubbish service despite my insistence on asking him to check the order, and he assured me it was correct. He charged me $22 for this. Look, I don't even eat liver or sotong, so I wouldn't have picked it in a million years. Rubbish attitude, nonchalant standards, and poor service. Absolutely appalled.

Tried the Indian rojak and really enjoyed it—especially the sauce, which was rich and flavorful. The price is reasonable, and I'll definitely come back again!

This was my second visit to this stall in the last 30 days. The rojak was tasty and crispy, and a pleasure to eat. The rojak gravy was, however, a bit too sweet; some may enjoy the sweetness, while others may not. If they could improve the gravy, this would be a 5-star review.

The famous origin of Salam Rojak. Situated within the West Coast area, stall 01-73 is brightly lit and easy to find. Eating rojak here with their hot fried items is the best moment to consume it. The sweet flavour gravy will make you unstoppable from eating their rojak. Their collective food items are stacked nicely; you just need to choose one by one. Another CDC-friendly food stall in Ayer Rajah Food Centre. Much happiness!

Good Indian Rojak. I guess this is the original one. Their other outlet is in North Point. The food is good, it's self-service, and you're sitting in a hot food centre. It's worth suffering the heat to enjoy the food.
