Probably the worst satay I have tried. Burnt on the outside and some uncooked inside
Probably the worst satay I have tried. It was burnt on the outside and some parts were uncooked inside.

The flavours were weak and the chilli was off-balance. The worst part is the staff member who only gave one lime for six wings! When asked for more, she gave one more and showed an unpleasant, ugly face. So stingy, they should close the stall! It's almost always females who are stingy when giving limes, etc.

We waited 20 minutes, then another 45 minutes for 35 sticks of satay that were very overcooked and not fresh. We also ordered 15 chicken wings, but they gave us a wrong order of only 5 chicken wings and blamed me for not hearing properly. They tried to scam me by substituting 5 prawns instead, which also weren't fresh. Best to avoid this place, as many people around us were also having issues with their orders.

Boss, I ordered takeaway beef satay and ketupat. It's okay if the ketupat was missing, but the satay was charred like this? Felt cheated, man. I'm never coming back again.

Long waiting time. When it finally came, the satay was cold. The satay isn't bad, but nothing fantastic, especially for the price. At least we could use our CDC vouchers.

The chicken satay was slightly dry; I think I prefer the beef satay. Overall, the seasoning on the meat was on point, with plenty of turmeric and spices evident in the barbecued skewers. The rice cake was quite dense. However, the sauce was the highlight of the meal, being both spicy and savoury, perfect for enjoying with the rice cake and satay.

Nice chicken satay, served on time. Although, to be fair, it wasn't a busy day.

After eating mostly Chinese-style satay, today I decided to try Malay-style satay. I ordered a mix of chicken, beef, mutton, and tripe (perut) – it was very nice. The tripe was flavorful and soft. Some of the mutton was a bit hard, but the rest was very good. The sauce was also very good.

The chicken satay is flavourful with a nice charred taste. The beef is okay, though slightly tough.
