Food was great. For two people, we ordered a slice beef set and a tenderloin set to share.
Food is cooked in batches. We missed the previous batch and were the first to be seated in the current one, yet we were the last to be served. It's quite ridiculous that the chef doesn't serve in the order customers were seated but by his convenience. The staff should coordinate this better.
I would advise clearing off previous customers' food first before seating new customers. It seems quite gross to be clearing finished food wrappers with sauces beside my freshly served rice and soup.
Rice and soup are served first, followed by vegetables and then meat. However, the duration between each serving is enough for the previous serving to turn cold.
The beef was surprisingly great and yummy. The garlic was a plus point. The chef also split the portion for us when he found out we were sharing, which was a nice gesture. Overall, the experience could definitely be much better.

Attracted by the smell and supposedly fresh ingredients, but the taste and quality were sub-par relative to the price. The overuse of sauce masked all natural tastes of the meat and seafood with pepper and salt. Customers are seated and served in batches, which means you will have to wait a long time despite being first. I will not come back again. The only saving grace is the chefs, who were attentive to their customers' orders despite cooking for 10 pax and above at one time.

This is my second visit, and my fiancée's first. I don't think I will visit again unless I'm really desperate. The eating places at the basement of Bugis Junction are considered "fast-food" to me, though the prices may suggest otherwise. Nonetheless, I don't expect a "proper" dining experience, but rather a quick eat-and-go place.
I ordered Set B (I can't recall what that was now), and my fiancée went with the spicy lamb. Drink choices were limited, so we skipped them. I think they had Dasani bottled water, canned sodas, and canned Oolong tea, etc.
We had to order and pay at the cashier before being assigned a seat. After payment, we were surprised to see several bowls of rice and soups already waiting on an empty section of the counter. We checked again to confirm they were for us, and they were. There was a short wait for the chef to appear, and I guess we were fortunate because our section filled up quickly. It was just past 7 pm, prime dining time. Then a chef came out, poured water onto the cooking surface, and proceeded to clean it. Due to the residual spices and sauce, the fumes caused discomfort to my fiancée and two other patrons. After cleaning, the chef disappeared. Two families then came to our section, followed by two men. Another chef showed up and started preparing our food, requesting to see our receipt to confirm our orders.
This chef asked if we wanted spicy or not. He cooked the non-spicy serving first, which was good, I suppose. If similar meats were ordered, he would cook a large batch and distribute them. The bean sprouts and vegetables came last. The presentation of the food was nothing to write home about, hence we didn't take many photos. Do not expect the meat to be properly prepared; there were still several pieces of tough tendons in the lamb that were impossible to consume. There was no burnt meat or seafood, so that's good. I won't comment on the quality, just as I don't comment on other fast-food joints.
After eating, we left. It's a quick in-and-out place to fill your stomach.

We didn't notice the instruction that we had to order first before queuing. It would have made more sense to queue at the counter to make payment first. Ordering then queuing didn't seem logical.
We got seats a bit at the corner while waiting for our order to be served. It took over 30 minutes for the food to be ready. Because I was seated at the corner, the vegetable serving was missed while the chef served everyone else. The chef offered to clean mine, but I declined as my vegetables hadn't been served yet.
I observed how they cleaned the tables; the black towel was already dirty inside and appeared to have been reused multiple times.
It took so long that I finished my rice with bean sprouts teppan before the main dishes arrived. The beefs were not tender and most of them were difficult to chew.
We will not be returning a second time.

GOD AWFUL FOOD HERE! 1. Oh dear - the amount of salt they added. It was such an unpleasant sight to watch them dump a huge serving of it onto all the ingredients. That is something I could never get over. It was really repulsive, not joking. 2. The dirt on the table. I realised some tables were dirtier than others, and some chefs put in more effort to clean one area than another, so that is... interesting. And of course, they reuse the dirty cloths... such professional service! 3. The hard and chewy meat that felt like I was a dog ripping meat off a bone. My grandma isn’t even that tough. 4. Quality compared to price, do I even need to say anything? Small and terrible food for $30, insane! Why pay extra to see chefs cook? I waited a couple of minutes to see if I would throw up or anything, but thankfully I didn’t. However, the salt. The damn taste is still stuck in my mouth. My fault for not checking the harsh reviews before coming. Do me a favour, never come here!

Not a bad teppanyaki place, and the price is okay too. They offer generous portions of beansprouts and Chinese cabbage. You can request for your teppanyaki to be spicy, and they will add chilli to the stir-fry.
The staff are all friendly, and the food is served fast as well.

Contrary to popular belief, the food is satisfactory, except that it's not spicy enough. I ordered Set B with a drink. Some comfort food after a week of hard work.

I didn't read the reviews here before going, but I had a regular experience. The squid was more like cuttlefish, but it still tasted good! The chef also cleaned the hot plate well, and we had nothing to complain about. The waiting time was short enough.
