After visiting the parks, we went for lunch at this outlet around noon. It wasn't crowded on a Tuesday. First, we had to order food at the kiosk, then collect our drinks at the designated area and show the staff the receipt. However, if you're paying cash, you need to bring the receipt to the counter for payment, and then queue again to collect your drink. It seemed the outlet was short-handed as there was only one staff member at the counter handling both cashier payments and issuing drinks.
The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating. The tables are quite small, which might feel a bit cramped for larger individuals. We waited a while for our food. I received my burger quite quickly, but my friend's fried chicken took a considerable amount of time to arrive.
The root beer float was served in a large, cold mug, which kept the drink cooler! I had the Chicken Burger With Premium Cream Cheese, and it tasted quite good. The curly fries were okay, just a bit cold. The fried chicken was served piping hot, so one had to be careful while eating. Unfortunately, the chicken was quite dry, so my friend only ate half of it.

Located just outside the entrance to Bird Paradise, A&W doesn't offer the 20% F&B discount for "Friends of Wildlife" members, which is a bit of a letdown. Ordering is pretty straightforward—you pick your items at the self-service kiosk, punch in your buzzer number, and pay. However, there’s a tiny note on the receipt telling you to collect your drink separately, which I only noticed when I was pointed to another counter after getting my food.
I went for the Mozza Burger & Marina Fish Sandwich Combo, which included curly fries and root beer. Unfortunately, the fries were overcooked and lost their usual springiness, and the burgers, despite being in "biodegradable" packaging, were a bit of a letdown. Even though they promote a "no straw" policy, they handed me one without asking. Plus, at the tray return area, there wasn’t any clear signage on how to deal with leftovers.
The place has both indoor (air-conditioned) and outdoor seating, and surprisingly, it stays pretty empty even during lunch. While the location is convenient and the ambiance is decent, the food quality and some small service quirks made it hard to fully enjoy the meal. With a few tweaks, they could definitely live up to the A&W name we know and love.

You need to know that after order even though with food pager that drink still need to show receipt
Please note that even with the food pager, you still need to show your receipt to collect your drinks after ordering. It would be better if drink collection was combined with food collection. I had a bad experience at another outlet where the drink counter was in the center, with cashiers on the left and right. The queue was messy, and I wasn't sure which line was for the cashier and which for drinks. Someone even cut in front of me to go to the cashier queue.
Food was okay. The Golden Aroma chicken was crispy, and the Coney dog was good.
Regarding the chili sauce, it's inconvenient to have to ask staff for more. They should just allow customers to take the sauce themselves.
There is no wash basin for hands in the outlet. You have to go outside to wash your hands before eating chicken or fries with your hands.
You might need to make multiple trips to collect your order as they don't prepare everything at once.
The tray return counter wasn't clearly marked. I saw other people placing their glasses on the tray return, and only then did I understand where to put them. I also had to search for the trash bin as it wasn't very clear.
The ordering system is a bit slow in displaying items, and the instructions for options were not clear. Some items offered choices while others had defaults, leaving me unsure about what I had ordered for my set, even though I proceeded with the order.
