Nice vibe and theme at the food court. The Dum Chicken Biryani is well seasoned and spiced. However, the chicken carcass was mostly bones with very little meat. While I don't claim to be a biryani expert, I've tried many different biryanis around the island, and this is my first experience where no gravy was served or provided (in case you think they forgot, there's a sign at the stall stating that gravy is not included with the biryani).

Title: Overrated, unwelcoming, and not worth the hype I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was honestly disappointing. I visited Bismillah Biryani at Gardens by the Bay only because my daughters were hungry and there weren’t many halal options around. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have chosen it. The staff were rude, unfriendly, and looked like they couldn’t be bothered. Not a single smile or basic courtesy. What really bothered me was how unwelcoming they seemed — especially towards locals. Tourists may not notice, but the difference in treatment is obvious. When I asked if they could help pack my unfinished food, they just threw me an empty container with zero effort. For a place that claims to have a Michelin star, the service was a joke. Even the food was cold, bland, and totally overpriced. Nothing special at all — definitely not worthy of the hype or the price tag. Honestly, I won’t return and I don’t recommend this place, especially if you’re expecting decent service or actual hospitality.

Ordered vegetarian dum biryani for $11.50. Taste-wise, it was okay. My tongue felt like it had been assaulted by the spice. However, it didn't have much vegetables at all; they were practically non-existent. The rice was dry as if it were 30 years old. I can get better-tasting biryani (with vegetables, thankfully) with three types of vegetables for half the price elsewhere. The yoghurt portion given was also too little. It's very sad for tourists who are presented with food of this quality and quantity. It doesn't reflect well on Singapore.

The picture on the menu is not what you will get! I ordered from the machine, and it showed a big chicken leg for 21 SGD. I decided to buy it because I wanted to eat a chicken leg, but it turned out I only got a chicken breast. When I asked the staff, they responded that the picture is just for illustration. Please list it out that your pictures here are not real!

It's a good Indian place near Gardens by the Bay. Taste-wise, it's not that authentic, but it's okay for a one-time visit.

Reasonable price for those eating in MBS. The naan bread looks like pizza dough, not your typical naan. We ordered butter chicken; for me, it was just okay, but the servings were generous enough for two people to share.

Had the Veg Dum Biryani here and was happy to eat masaledar biryani in Singapore. A nice respite after a long walk in Gardens by the Bay.

Awesome food, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. As vegetarians, we often find it difficult, but luckily this place treated us well, and we enjoyed the food.

I walked here from my accommodation, dripping in sweat and very hungry. It was quite yummy and the perfect pick-me-up for the day. I got a hot chai with three samosas, a deal I saw advertised on their menu.
