This brand is one of my favourite brands because at most places it's usually quite nice. So I was at Gardens by the Bay and didn't know what to eat, and I saw this stall. Surprisingly, the food was not as good. The grilled chicken, which is their signature, was not as marinated as usual. The nasi lemak felt not fragrant enough, and the chili not as spicy. The price was also more expensive, probably because it's located at a tourist spot.

I wanted to try the Michelin-rated nasi lemak from this place because of all the positive reviews and found one near me at Gardens by the Bay. The meal was okay, but I'd never had nasi lemak before. Afterwards, I realized a few things were missing from my dish when comparing it to the menu photos: peanuts, cucumber, and most importantly, sambal. The rest of the dish tasted fine, though it probably would have been better if it was a complete dish...

I stopped for a quick lunch at Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwan whilst exploring Gardens by the Bay. The food was quick and delicious, and very reasonably priced too. There are plenty of options to choose from - I opted for the one with a chicken cutlet. It was all very well flavoured, and the sauce had a really spicy kick!
You can find it in the Jurassic Food Hall at Gardens by the Bay. It’s not the most relaxing dining environment, but it serves the purpose of a quick bite to eat.
