6 Aug 2025. We were there for their breakfast at about 9:15 AM. The single floor staff member manning the place said all tables were occupied and told us to wait. Noticing that their breakfast hours end at 10:30 AM, I suggested we could join other diners with spare seats. It was only then that she went to separate two tables occupied by a single diner. I was quite surprised she didn't offer this proactively. The century egg porridge was already empty at this moment, so I started with their pumpkin porridge. It had a sweet taste which I didn't like. The other dish available was the golden crispy beans, which was essentially kachap puteh Chinese style with a layer of sugar enhancement. The century egg porridge was refilled in about ten minutes. It was savoury, and you could get bits of century eggs and meats in it. This was the star of the unlimited breakfast. I asked the lady staff where the homemade side dishes were and was told there were none today due to no stock. I considered this a serious breach of contract, given that their breakfast menu had only a few items. Beverages available included hot or cold soya bean milk and a hot misty tea. The soya bean milk was quite sweet. By about 10:10 AM, both porridges were empty and no refills were made. There was also little soya bean milk left, and the staff transferred it out into cups. The unlimited breakfast is priced at 3 SGD, which can be considered reasonable. However, if the cost of two-way transportation to this secluded mall was included, it might not be so reasonable anymore. The place itself was quite impressive, with well-thought-out designs to optimise operations. We didn't know tissues were available at first until I noticed the drawers on each table. Toothpicks were also available. The walls were well decorated, one with three joined TV screens for their ads and another with decorative shutters. Utensils appeared to be placed under UV lighting for sterilisation, although I wondered if such lights are harmful to the naked eye. My rating reflects the absence of homemade side dishes and the inflexibility in not creating more seating unless prompted. Overall, you could try them out if you are in the area. I am not sure if this breakfast is available in other outlets. Edit: The process of filling up the form and reaching out to you for a reply felt like lip service. I was skeptical and only did it some days later, and indeed, no one reached out to me. Reduced rating by one more star.

A PRC-styled fast food economy rice place. Order and pay via QR code, and your food will arrive in 10 minutes. Understaffed, hence hygiene is slightly compromised. Food is hot when served but leans towards the salty side. You have to return your food tray once you complete your meal. Good for takeaway. Will not return.

Arrived at 2pm for a late lunch. There was no crowd, only 3 tables occupied. Today's food tasted bad. The dishes were ready faster than usual. Sadly, the butter chicken and brinjal mixed vegetables we ordered seemed like they were prepared some time ago or were leftovers from the earlier lunch crowd, because both dishes served were not warm or hot, but at room temperature. Fortunately, the beef dish was good as usual. What's the point of serving in nice claypots if the food isn't freshly prepared and hot? Are the claypots just for presentation purposes? We ate here twice in the past 2 weeks and were satisfied. But today, we were quite disappointed ☹️. Please maintain the standard. Consistency cannot be compromised.

The food isn't that great. The butter chicken was served in less than 5 minutes after I ordered and it tasted lukewarm, unlike my previous experience when I dined in. The butter chicken is also too sweet for my liking. I've eaten here before, but this time was a disappointment.

The butter chicken's taste was not balanced; it was just creamy and heavy. The chicken itself tasted like it was fried from last night. When I asked for more chili padi for the soy sauce, the waitress didn't provide it and said they were finished. How come? I honestly couldn't finish it and had no more appetite.

I recently stumbled upon this new stall selling Chinese cuisine, and I have to say—it’s absolutely fantastic! I ordered the shredded potato, mapo tofu, and buttermilk chicken, and the entire meal came to just $10. It could have been cheaper without the potato, but honestly, their shredded potato dish is so delicious that it’s worth every cent! This is already my third visit since they opened, and I can’t recommend it enough. The buttermilk chicken is a must-try—flavorful, crispy, and with just the right hint of sweetness. It’s a delightful mix of authentic Chinese cuisine with a local twist. If you’re in the area, give this place a shot. I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I do!
