The food isn't that great. The butter chicken was served in less than 5 minutes after I ordered and it tasted lukewarm, unlike my previous experience when I dined in. The butter chicken is also too sweet for my liking. I've eaten here before, but this time was a disappointment.

Ordered Set A: Hunan beef + taro chicken + cabbage. The taro chicken was the SALTIest thing I've had my entire life. Even saltier than the Dead Sea probably (though I haven't been to the Dead Sea). I also ordered a cup of lemon tea, which didn't help quench my thirst at all. The rice was fine. The beef was fine. I liked the cabbage. The seaweed soup was the saving grace. Taste was one-dimensional, just salty and spicy. Hope you guys can improve the food and decrease the amount of salt/MSG. My kidneys will thank you.

Love Delibowl ever since I visited the first branch at Paya Lebar. Their Laziji is very meaty, with good-sized chunks of meat, unlike other places that mostly fry chicken skin with little meat. Trying this branch at Funan Mall, the dishes are served in takeaway containers, and the stall is a small unit on Level 2, by the side of the building. Service is quick, and meals are served piping hot, not just microwaved. I appreciate that their meal portions are value for money. Even the vegetable portion for $6.60 is generous and worth the price. I always order their Laziji and Butter Chicken dishes, which come with plenty of chicken. The paper bowl might look small, but it's filled to the brim. A satisfying meal for $28; we ordered two mains, one veggie dish, and added a side of cold cucumbers for $2. What's even better is that it's halal, so everyone can now enjoy Chinese cuisine. :)

Came on a weekday afternoon for an early lunch. Their mapo tofu is not too bad; it's neither numbingly spicy nor too salty, and goes pretty well with rice. Pricewise, it's quite friendly. They use all disposable bowls and cutleries, so it is very hygienic. Oh, they are halal certified, so their mapo tofu is a bit different from the usual – it has no pork inside.

The food is super delicious. I come from northeast China and felt that my hometown dish, stir-fried eggplant, potato, and beans, was made by a chef from my hometown. Then, I surprisingly realized that the chef is actually from Southeast Asia. That's so amazing! A foreign chef making my hometown dish, and the flavor is like my mum's cooking!
