Tried Dipndip for the first time – a chocolate-themed café I’ve often seen bustling with people. I ordered their waffle and crepe, both of which came drenched in chocolate with an artistic drizzle. Visually, it looked impressive, but the taste didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. The chocolate was too runny and overly sweet – a bit too much for my preference. Of course, taste is subjective, but I personally couldn’t appreciate it. The ambiance was also not the most comfortable. We were seated in the middle of a cramped dining area, and staff/customers brushing past and hitting my chair was a recurring issue. The service staff all looked stern, with no smiles around. Still, it was a good experience to finally try it out after passing by so many times. That said, I’ll probably give it a miss in the future.

The initial dining experience was overall pleasant. Service was fast and satisfactory. I am quite familiar with its products, as we used to have it in Malaysia for a much cheaper price. Their menu is via QR code, but ordering is through the staff, which I find quite unnecessary, especially considering the service fee is above 10%. The serving size is the same. However, we found the chocolate a little skimpy considering its price. One thing: the chairs are a bit uncomfortable, though. Overall, it's still okay because the chocolate quality is really good. In my opinion, the coffee was less acidic, which I prefer.

The dessert selection is plentiful, however, if you've just had a big dinner, their heavy desserts might be quite difficult to stomach. It's better to have a light dinner and give this place a go. Their Belgium Hot Chocolate was amazing; it wasn’t too heavy or too sweet, and in my opinion, it had the perfect consistency and taste. I also tried their Oreo Waffle. However, I felt that the chocolate sauce was a little overloaded, which made the waffle a bit soggy and soft. But with the ice cream, the chocolate sauce hardens and creates a crumble effect when eaten together, which was really interesting, and the chocolate taste was amazing.

Went here alone on 26/4 late evening. I must say it was a 10/10 experience! I queued for only 15 minutes, hah! I've been wanting to eat at Dipndip for the longest time, and I finally satisfied my craving yesterday! The staff was nice and welcoming. As for the food, for a sweet tooth like me, I loved it. But yes, it's very sweet. Just a pro tip: order plain water because, trust me, you will need it. I managed to finish all this surprisingly, but after everything, I drank lots of plain water.

Everything about this place is awesome and beautiful. It was my son’s birthday, and we had almost 12 of us, including kids. The staff kindly arranged seating for all of us, and the service was impressively fast. Our hearts and tummies were filled with delicious food, and my son felt so special when everyone sang for him on his birthday. Our day was truly made happy and memorable. A special mention to Ady, who served us with a great smile and incredible attention to detail. This is a wonderful place to spend quality time with your loved ones!

Nice environment, although the inside space is a bit cramped. The design and atmosphere are quite cosy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They gave nice smiles and helped cheerfully, which was appreciated. The food was served quite quickly, and the portion is quite big for the price. There's a choice of milk, dark, or white chocolate. The milk chocolate is sweeter, and the dark chocolate is not too bitter. I liked the dark chocolate more. We enjoyed our digestive crepes, and they were filled with biscuits inside. A very filling and delicious dessert.

dipndip @ VivoCity ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5) We came here just for dessert, and it did not disappoint. The menu is filled with indulgent chocolate treats, perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth. Our dessert was rich, satisfying, and beautifully presented. Portions are generous, making it great for sharing. Service was decent, and the place has a cosy, dessert-parlour vibe that's ideal for a post-meal treat or a mid-day sugar fix. Definitely worth a stop if you're craving something chocolatey while at VivoCity.
