One of the worst Kopitiams in Singapore. It looks like a food court in a third-world country. We had the bad luck to eat here because one person in our party wanted to, and even worse luck to choose the claypot stall. Beware when buying from here, as there are two versions of claypot chicken rice: the normal one with Chinese sausage and salted fish, and the one with just chicken and rice. From the start, the man manning the stall was quite rude and not interested in taking our order at all. We waited there for several minutes, so he had no choice but to serve us. But when the order came out wrong (with spring onions when I had asked for none), his colleague scolded us and even shouted at us. Such a terrible experience. Maybe they think they can get away with it because mostly tourists come here?

My only negative experience in Singapore has been here. It was just before closing time, and the rudeness of some stallholders, as mentioned in other reviews, is true. Also, one stallholder said they would take our order, so we paid (they didn't give us a receipt), and the food never came. When confronted about this and showing payment on our banking app, there were just denials. Lastly, when we did get food from one stall (a chicken hot pot that was pretty good), the elderly ladies cleaning up were actively hassling us to leave (along with two other tables). They were actually standing over us, telling us to get out while giving us the evil stare for 10 minutes. Worst customer service overall.

This is the newly renovated kopitiam with many more stalls and seating. The food portions are small, prices are above average, and food quality isn't great. Avoid the porridge at the Teochew Cuisine stall.

Enjoyed eating here as we were looking for halal food, and we found many choices in this food court.

We enjoyed eating here as we were looking for halal food, and we found many choices in this food court. I think there are about 10 stalls selling halal food, with options from Korean, Western, Indonesian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, and Malaysian cuisines. You can recognize the halal stalls by their serving trays; a green tray means the food is halal. The food tastes okay with reasonable prices and fulfilling portions. The food court is quite clean but can get very packed during lunch hour. It's located in the basement, near the MRT connection, just after McDonald's. Recommended stop before heading to Universal Studios.

Kopitiam @ VivoCity (Revamped B2) – Foodie Heaven is Back! The wait is finally over… and wow, it was worth it! The newly revamped Kopitiam at VivoCity is now open at Basement 2, brighter, livelier, and packed with foodie gems. I went straight for the Rou Jia Mo — that flatbread was soft and chewy, hugging juicy, flavorful pork that made every bite pure comfort food bliss. Honestly, it’s the kind of street snack that makes you want to order a second one immediately. But the true star of the day? The Sheng Jian Bao. One bite and… BOOM — crispy golden bottom, fluffy bao top, and juicy pork filling bursting with flavor. The texture game is next level — crispy, fluffy, juicy all in one bite. Heaven in bao form, no joke. The new Kopitiam vibe is clean, spacious, and buzzing with energy. With over 20 stalls, from local flavors to sweet treats, you’ll be spoiled for choice. It’s the perfect pit stop for family, friends, or just a quick foodie fix after shopping. Verdict: Rou Jia Mo warms the heart, Sheng Jian Bao steals the show. If you’re around VivoCity, this revamped Kopitiam is the place to eat, chill, and repeat. Don’t leave without trying those baos — your taste buds will thank you!

After exploring all that Sentosa had to offer, it was time to wind down with dinner. We headed to VivoCity Kopitiam, the perfect place to end our incredible day. With so many food options, each of us picked our favorites. We enjoyed sharing dishes, tasting different flavors, and simply being together. The atmosphere was lively, the food was delicious, and it was the perfect way to reflect on all the fun we had throughout the day. From the scenic cable car ride and thrilling luge adventure to a delightful lunch, a spectacular evening show, and a satisfying dinner, every moment was filled with joy, laughter, and great company. It was truly a day to remember. If you’re visiting Singapore, I highly recommend this itinerary. It’s the perfect way to create unforgettable memories with your loved ones.

Revamped kopitiam looks nice and fancy. Salted egg chicken fried rice from Wen Xiang Yun is not bad

The revamped kopitiam looks nice and fancy. The salted egg chicken fried rice from Wen Xiang Yun is not bad. The fried rice has individual grains and pearl rice is used. The salted egg sauce could be a little more, though. I got the free kopitiam signature set by setting up an account with Trust digital bank.

The newly opened food court offers a lot of variety. It just opened in September 2025. You really need to avoid the dinner crowd, though.
