Kopitiam represents Singapore's evolution of traditional hawker culture, transforming the beloved kopitiam experience into modern, air-conditioned food courts across the island. With over 70 outlets operated by NTUC Enterprise since 2018, Kopitiam has become an integral part of Singapore's dining landscape, offering the best local hawker fare at affordable prices.
Each Kopitiam food court houses a diverse collection of stalls serving iconic Singaporean favorites including Hainanese chicken rice, laksa, char kway teow, yong tau foo, and kaya toast, alongside international cuisines from Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, and Japanese traditions. Special outlets like Plaza Singapura feature Michelin-approved hawkers, bringing award-winning flavours under one roof.
Beyond just food, Kopitiam serves as important community spaces where Singaporeans from all walks of life gather daily. Recently revitalized locations at major malls feature thoughtful interior designs and comfortable modern environments while maintaining the authentic taste and competitive pricing that makes hawker culture accessible to everyone.

Most of the previous vendors have not returned. Now we have new vendors, but unfortunately, the food quality has dropped to just 'okay' or worse. Generally, this drop in food quality is common island-wide, whether at food centres or restaurants.

I've eaten this 'Fried Rice with Chicken Cutlet' three times, and it has consistently been delicious:
Fried rice: good quality rice, tasty and fragrant.
Chicken Cutlet: Crispy, tender, and flavourful.
Price: $8/- (It's worth it)

This is for the Claypot Rice & Herbal BKT store. The counter staff was rude. I could easily throw tofu and some slices of beef in hot water with chilli oil myself. Is it worth $16.80? I'd much rather buy three bowls of ban mian and have them all in one sitting than go back to this store again. I mean, seriously? Singapore's Best Food, my arse.

The kopi stall aunty was extremely rude and impatient. I understand it can be quite overwhelming, but I just asked where the soy sauce was. She said '在下面' (zài xiàmiàn - meaning 'below'). So I thought it was below the counter. I went to look below the counter but saw no soy sauce. She replied in an extremely annoyed tone, 'aiyo 小妹 (xiǎo mèi - little sister), look properly.' But who would have known it was stacked in between the plates.

Decided to try the halal mala hotpot after seeing a few tables having it. The food was probably done in under 3 minutes as it started beeping after we sat down briefly. This is one of the worst, if not the worst, halal mala hotpot I have ever eaten. We could tell they barely stir-fried the ingredients after blanching. Even the steamed rice was bad. We tried our best to finish the food to avoid wasting it. Next, I ordered Teh C and it had a burnt taste. If I could rate zero stars for the food, I would. This is a misrepresentation and an insult to Singapore's food culture. Double thumbs down

A reasonably priced place to eat at T3, located on the public side of the airport. There's a wide choice of different cuisines available. At the end of the day, it's a food court where you serve yourself and take your empty plate and tray to the return area once you've finished. You can hardly give it many stars for service, but this isn't a complaint; it's just how food courts are. Over my several visits, I ate a prata set (2 prata with daal and curry sauce for around $3.30), some bao (between $1-2 each), Nasi Ayam Penyet, and cendol.

A lot of food stalls with many choices, and there are also many halal stores. The food is alright. My favorite is still the halal Teochew fishball from Michelin Bib Gourmand Lixin Fishball. The coffee here is not bad either.

I remember the only food court we could find in Changi Airport was the one in the basement, mainly for the staff. It felt like a hidden secret for those wanting an affordable meal before flying or needing to save money for their trip.
It's great that we now have many food courts for the public, and T3 is no exception. They are located in Basement 2 and open 24 hours! The signage is clear, so it's no longer an insider secret.
The prices are around or slightly more expensive than regular food courts. Food prices have increased significantly everywhere in Singapore. There are plenty of seats, which is great. The choices are okay; I think if you're not picky, you can always find something to eat.

Kopitiam – Changi Airport T3 (Post-Renovation)
There have been many new additions since Kopitiam reopened after renovations in April 2025. I don’t visit the airport often, so I’ll be updating this review as I try more dishes from the various stalls.
Korean & Japanese Stall
I tried the Saba fish, which was uniquely paired with sambal chilli. I was pleasantly surprised by how well our local sambal complemented the grilled Saba—an unexpected but delicious twist. Loved it!
Mixed Vegetable Rice
This is one of the more popular stalls, and it consistently draws long queues. There’s a good variety to choose from, which is always a plus. I ordered the mala pork belly, salted egg chicken, stir-fried shredded melon, and Chinese pork sausage. The total came up to $15.40—definitely the most expensive mixed veg rice I’ve had so far. That said, the culinary execution here is, in my opinion, above industry standard. You can taste the difference in quality and care.
