Hostile service by the Malay aunty cashier at Northshore Punggol Plaza. I've been there a few times. She never smiles and is unapproachable. It didn't bother me because my family loves the chicken rice, until I had a bad experience with her yesterday. My 3-year-old son was not able to finish his plate of chicken rice and was a bit cranky. I decided to pack the food because my son only took a couple of spoonfuls of rice and didn't touch the chicken. I went up to her and requested my plate of chicken rice to be packed. She gave me a plastic bag and a container and told me to pack the rice myself. I was horrified. What on earth? She said the reason was because the plate needed to be placed at the cleaning tray. I couldn't believe what I heard. The Chinese guy who cut the chicken heard our conversation, took the container, and helped me pack it. I paid the 30 cents, thanked the Chinese guy, and left. I wonder why she was employed to serve and face customers when she has ZERO customer service. I hope the owner reads this and looks into this matter. I love your chicken rice and have been patronizing your food, but you have a bad staff member there. The Oasis staff are friendlier.

At Nex mall outlet. Bought chicken rice with extra $6 worth of chicken to take away. Total worth $11

At the Nex mall outlet. I bought chicken rice with an extra $6 worth of chicken to take away, totalling $11.50. However, they only gave two small portions of chili sauce. I asked for more as it was obviously not enough for the amount of chicken, but the lady cashier refused. It's ridiculous how stingy this store is, and the service was rude as well.

The worst chicken rice stall I ever had in my life. Not only poor customer service and also ridiculo

The worst chicken rice stall I have ever had in my life. Not only was the customer service poor, but it was also ridiculously expensive, charging $3 for macaroni in a portion less than half a rice bowl. Lucky there is a minimum of 1 star, otherwise I would give 0 stars.

horrified to say the least. i don’t ever write reviews but this is just unacceptable. ordered throug

Horrified to say the least. I don't usually write reviews, but this is just unacceptable. Ordered through Grab (from the Hillion outlet) and was shocked at the amount of rice given for the price! The vegetables weren't even vegetables; it was just all stem! I will never be ordering from here again. Taste-wise, it's okay, but you can definitely find cheaper and better chicken rice stalls around.

Ordered 2 sets of chicken rice drumstick but didn't see a drumstick. Only a small portion of shredde

Ordered 2 sets of chicken rice with drumstick, but didn't receive any drumsticks. Only a small portion of shredded chicken, which I presume was from maybe half a drumstick. The rice portion was also very small. Additionally, there was too little chilli for the chicken rice, perhaps only a teaspoon stored in the small container which was barely half full. The portion size was small overall and simply not worth the price paid. The taste was good, but the shop is very stingy with portions for the price. Why so stingy?

still our fave chicken rice shop in singapore. does not matter where we go - jewel / century square

Still our favourite chicken rice shop in Singapore. It doesn't matter where we go – Jewel, Century Square, or other outlets; if there's Fitra Chicken Rice, that's our first option.

One of the best Halal Chinese-style chicken rice! I feel so blessed that there are two Fitras here in Tampines, one in Tampines Mall's Kopitiam and the other in Century Square's Food Market. I have tried all of their menu, and my absolute favorite has to be the classic Roasted Drumstick Chicken Rice; the meat is moist, tender, and so flavourful, unlike some others which I have experienced to be dry and tough (a nightmare). Their noodle varieties also provide another level of satisfaction for me, especially the Chicken Noodles and Curry Noodles (go for the steamed chicken as it goes well with the curry). I do not like their porridge as it is bland, totally zero flavour. Thankfully, this is the only item I dislike. Their prices may be steep, but it's warranted for the taste and quality! I am sure there are many chicken rice stalls out there that may offer cheaper pricing and better taste, but for me, Fitra is the only one. To each their own.

Fitra chicken rice varies from stall to stall island wide. Decided to try out this one at century sq

Fitra chicken rice varies from stall to stall island-wide. I decided to try this one at Century Square food court and surprisingly, it tasted much better than the ones I had at Sengkang Square kopitiam. I'm not sure if the chicken they prepare is all from a central kitchen, but it just tastes different. This chicken rice set cost $6.90 though, which is a bit on the high side. But oh well, could it be due to rental as it's located inside a mall?

I used to eat at their Bugis Junction outlet but they are closed now. Glad to find the familiar face

I used to eat at their Bugis Junction outlet, but it's closed now. Glad to find the familiar faces at their Tampines Mall outlet. The chicken rice is as good as it was at Bugis Junction :) One negative note is that the soup isn't consistent – sometimes it has a herbal taste, other times it's simply delightful.
