Gado & Grill has pioneered innovative Indonesian cuisine in Singapore through their signature GadoMie™ concept, which creatively combines the beloved Indonesian Indomie Goreng with traditional Gado Gado elements to create a unique fusion dish that honors Indonesian culinary heritage while appealing to modern tastes. This MUIS halal-certified restaurant chain has established comprehensive coverage across Singapore with locations at Sengkang Grand Mall, Bukit Panjang Plaza, Our Tampines Hub, One Raffles Place, Yishun Integrated Transport Hub, and Paya Lebar, ensuring accessibility for both residential communities and central business district workers. The brand's focus on Indonesian grill specialties demonstrates their commitment to authentic preparation methods while adapting traditional recipes to meet contemporary dining expectations and halal certification requirements.
The restaurant's menu showcases the depth of Indonesian cuisine through signature offerings including Gado-gado, Indo Mie, Ayam Penyet, and grilled fish preparations that emphasize the complex flavor profiles characteristic of Indonesian cooking. Customer favorites include the oxtail soup featuring very meaty and beefy broth, Gado with Noodle served with rich peanut sauce, and Ayam Penyet accompanied by really spicy and shiok sambal that delivers the authentic heat Indonesian food enthusiasts expect. The generous portions, affordable pricing, and substantial amounts of crackers and accompaniments reflect the restaurant's commitment to value-driven dining experiences that don't compromise on authenticity or quality.
Operating with convenient hours from early morning to late evening across their various locations, Gado & Grill has successfully adapted traditional Indonesian street food culture to modern food court and shopping center environments. The restaurant's presence in diverse settings from suburban malls to central business district locations demonstrates their versatility in serving different customer segments while maintaining consistent food quality and halal certification standards. Gado & Grill represents more than just another Indonesian restaurant; it embodies the successful modernization of traditional Indonesian cuisine, proving that authentic ethnic flavors can be preserved and celebrated while adapting to Singapore's multicultural dining preferences and contemporary convenience expectations.

Small portion, the grilled chicken was overly dry, and there was no sambal on the side for delivery. Also, the delivery order was not complete. The quality has been suffering a lot recently.

The staff seemed disengaged and uninterested in providing service. I stood there for quite a while, hoping someone would approach me or even acknowledge my presence.
While I understand that businesses can have an off day, the lethargy in service was palpable. It made what should have been an enjoyable experience feel more like an inconvenience. I hope the management takes note of this and encourages their team to engage more actively with customers.

I took away this food. I ordered gado-gado with chunky satay. When I got home, there was no satay, even though I paid an extra $1.50 for it. There was also a hair in my gado-gado.

Gado & Grill @Buangkok NEL MRT. Expensive and not value for money, also not a healthier choice.
Gado-Gado ketupat (rice cake) tasted strange, wasn't fragrant and lacked the QQ chewiness.
The keropok wasn't viewed as a key complement to the meal; it lacked tastiness and didn't blend well with the food.
Only the ayam penyet had slightly more tender meat. The satay meat was hard and dry, inedible without the satay gravy.
As some reviewers mentioned, without the sambal chilli, it was just plain. Fortunately, during delivery (without having to face the staff), the chilli was sufficiently packed in a little container. However, there should be an option for less spicy chilli.
There was no fragrance in the rice, and the chicken was without flavour – poorly marinated.

Unassuming, affordable, quality indo food in the heartland. In case you need a Gado Gado and Sop Bun
Unassuming and affordable, this place offers quality Indonesian food in the heartlands. If you need a Gado Gado or Sop Buntut fix, this is the place to visit.
Located right outside Buangkok MRT Station, the Sop Buntut at $7 is legit, and the Gado Gado at $5.90 is generously portioned.

The food was served quickly and was good and delicious. The downside is that there isn't a lot of variety on the menu. The price was neither cheap nor expensive, so it was so-so for me. You can self-service to get tap water.

Authentic taste, legit spicy, next to MRT, free flow self-service water. Staff can be more friendly.
Authentic taste, genuinely spicy, conveniently located next to the MRT, with free-flow self-service water. The staff could be a bit friendlier.

I was ordering gado-gado and bakso. In the cashier note, I requested bihun bakso, as I thought it would include bihun. However, when I reached home, there was no bihun. The taste was okay and nice, but the service was not friendly enough.
