Today, 21st Aug 2025, at around 11:45 am to 2:00 pm, I purchased a bowl of bobo-chacha at the dessert stall. I was the only customer. A senior woman turned around and, speaking in Mandarin, said she wasn't free and that I would have to wait. I replied, "Fine, take your time. I understand." When I later told her I'd like to have it cold, she mentioned there wouldn't be much gravy. I said that was no problem. I also mentioned I was getting it for my sister and asked if she was okay with it if there wasn't much gravy. My sister was fine with it! When I returned to confirm with her that I'd like to order the cold bobo-chacha, she started repeating that there would be little gravy and that I shouldn't blame her for it. She then further said in Mandarin, “已经跟你说了,你死活都要冷的,没什么汤就别怪我没跟你说”, etc., in a tone that suggested I owed her a million dollars and had wronged her deeply! I paid and left, feeling increasingly unhappy as I reflected on the interaction. Isn't it a customer's right to order anything as long as it's available? And what I eat has nothing to do with her, other than the fact that she was the one I placed my order with!
Singapore prides itself as a centre for services and as a developed country. But why should the woman speak in such a hostile manner: "你死活都要吃冷的......"? Is it necessary? Can't hawkers understand they are merely doing their job and I am merely ordering my food?
It's about time we started a national campaign to educate both the public and service providers, including hawker stall owners and food sellers, about the need to respect each other, to be measured, and not to be taken captive by our own impatient tempers! Otherwise, Singapore will only slide further down to becoming a country with 1st-world infrastructure but 4th-world residents! To the woman who served me and spoke that horrible statement to me, good luck to you!

Very disappointed with the vegetarian stall service. The auntie was so aggressive serving the two policemen who queued in front of me. But for me, they didn't even ask if I wanted curry gravy, and although I ordered curry vegetables, I didn't receive even one small piece of the tau pok. What I got was only a few pieces of vegetables. It charged me $4.

$5.10 for 2 vegetables and 1 meat from a mixed vegetable stall. I believe it's 2 meats, as they hide tiny pieces of meat at the bottom of the steamed egg to charge meat prices. Ridiculous.

This feedback is solely for the drinks stall. There's only one person making drinks for both the physical queue and orders via the Koufu app. It's only when you approach the stall to enquire about your order, which was placed 45 minutes ago, that they start making your drinks! The coffee is so bland, it tastes like brown water. They don't have time to make a new brew because of the endless queue. I'm going to boycott this drinks stall and just head over to FunToast or Ya Kun in the same building to get my kopi.

I can't even give the drink stall a star. BAD ATTITUDE AND RUDE TO FREQUENT PATRONS! Today, I bit into a cockroach in my iced coffee, which was prepared by an elderly male staff. I brought it back to the stall. Trying not to create a scene, I went to the dessert staff. She wanted to push me back to the drinks stall. I said, 'You have a long queue, unless you want everyone to hear me.' So soon after, she took my drink to the others at the drinks counter. One of them (all female staff, the elderly male staff wasn't around) confronted me loudly, asking if this was a fake cockroach. I was so pissed by then. I almost swallowed the cockroach and felt like throwing up. They have no compassion, no remorse. I will not buy from the drink stall again.

The BBQ wings were charcoal-grilled to a crisp perfection, offering a delightful smoky flavor. Each wing was a succulent and juicy treat, boasting a satisfyingly crispy skin. The addition of chili and a hint of lime elevated the taste, making the dish even more delicious.

Korean stall's chicken and beef was terrible, don't get it
- The rice was a bit soggy, and not real
The Korean stall's chicken and beef were terrible, I don't recommend them.
- The rice was a bit soggy and not really 'Korean' rice.
- The beef and chicken were rather bland.
- There was no soy sauce or any sauce provided on the side.
- The kimchi was very strange and not good (the ikan bilis was already too fishy).
- And the soup was bland, like water with salt

Their mixed veg rice (chai png) stall is really good. They are pretty consistent with their food. The rice is steaming hot. The fish and curry chicken are warm, fresh, and tasty. Reasonable prices too. A true gem in a small neighbourhood food court. I highly recommend it.
