If you don’t mind being half full, being short change by them, this is the place to go.

Previously, I complained that the fried wantons had only 0.5cm to 1cm of meat. They improved for a few months, but now there's little meat again. I'm not sure how they prepare the wantons with so little meat; it's like a joke. Just came again because other restaurants had no seats. We waited so long for one meal, 20 minutes to cook one mini wok. I saw the staff girl making 15 drinks for GrabFood drivers. The service is so slow.

Compared with the stall at Waterway Point, whose taste was so off, this place still has a decent taste for the noodles. Minus the tomato sauce.

I had a highly disappointing experience on August 3rd when I ordered a laksa from this establishment. The service provided by the Malay lady at the counter was extremely rude and unhelpful. I was charged S$5.50 for a bowl of laksa that contained only tau pok, a few slices of fish cake, and half a hard-boiled egg. When I requested laksa leaves, she raised her voice and abruptly said, "Don't have." The laksa itself was oily and merely warm, not hot as expected. Additionally, the environment was very unclean, with tables left dirty and dishes unwashed. Overall, I do not recommend this place due to the poor service and unsatisfactory food quality.

I quite like this place; it's not too crowded, but weekends can be a bit busy for walk-ins. Tried the fishball noodles and clay pot – not bad.

Try their signature noodles; the taste was much better than expected, to be honest. I liked the quantity and the fact that they have a non-spicy version too. Service was fast as well. I will definitely come back to try their other meals. The stall is very small if you want to dine in. I came at 2:30 pm, so there were plenty of seats available, but it might be tricky during busy hours.

Usually not busy. The ladies at the shop are nice. There are a few tables if you want to dine in. Takeaway is fast (I usually order pick-up from Grab). I've tried a lot of the dishes. My personal favourite is the Wanton Mee set with 8 fried wantons (packed together). It's easy to check in and out using SafeEntry at the door. When you takeaway with Grab, you don't have to check in; just let them know at the front counter.

Encik Tan has always been a local favourite for its simple home-styled Chinese cuisine with a local twist. The taste can vary depending on the chef on duty, catering to different taste buds. Anyway, you can always request adjustments according to your preference, and they'll always try to accommodate. Hahahahaha
