Jinjja Chicken has established itself as Singapore's premier halal-certified Korean fried chicken destination, bringing authentic Korean flavors to the Muslim community through its fast-casual dining concept that launched in Bugis Village in 2016. This pioneering restaurant has successfully expanded across Singapore with outlets at major shopping centers including Bugis Plus, Jewel Changi Airport, NEX, Westgate, Northpoint City, and Sengkang Grand Mall, making Korean fried chicken accessible to halal diners throughout the island.

The restaurant specializes in Korean fried chicken with three signature flavor profiles: Soy Garlic for those seeking traditional Korean taste, Yangnyeom offering sweet and spicy notes, and Monster providing extra spicy heat for adventurous palates. Beyond their famous fried chicken, the menu features Korean classics including colorful Bibimbap rice bowls topped with vegetables and gochujang sauce, Kimchi Fried Rice, K-Pop Chicken in bite-sized boneless portions, and traditional Korean noodles that showcase the depth of Korean cuisine.

The vibrant restaurant atmosphere features funky decor and K-pop videos that transport diners to the energetic streets of South Korea, while their commitment to halal certification ensures authenticity without compromise. Available through major delivery platforms and offering student deals, vegetarian options, and takeaway desserts, Jinjja Chicken has become more than just a fried chicken restaurant – it's a cultural bridge that introduces Korean culinary traditions to Singapore's diverse dining community.

Me and my friend dine in today at around 1:45pm and my friend did a feedback regarding the cleanline

My friend and I dined in today around 1:45 PM. My friend provided feedback regarding cleanliness and the Chinese manager, but I assume the post has since been deleted internally. The table was not clean. The manager at the counter, a Chinese male, was on his phone from around 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM, for about 15 minutes straight. He didn't bother to walk around or check if the dining area was clean. The rubbish bin was also overflowing. Overall, it showed a lack of attention to cleanliness and customer experience.

- You MUST secure a table first (via a separate queue at the seating area) before ordering your food at the front counter. There's obvious signage for this at the front counter area, so it's possible that an incoming customer reaches the shopfront, joins the food order queue first, before realizing they need to secure a table first. - Securing the table first also means that some teens we saw placed their handbags/phones on the table and left them unguarded as they went to the order counter to look at the menu and place their orders. This is unsafe for their belongings. - Ordering has to be done at the counter; there's no automated kiosk. Because of the various dish options possible, each customer takes quite a bit of time, causing the queue to be quite long. - Seating is very limited – there are only 3 x 4-seater tables and 6 x 2-seater tables. The 4-seaters are also very cramped. - The chicken/burgers are way too salty. The chicken sauce is directly drizzled copiously onto the chicken (we ordered boneless), making the crunchy skin become soggy quickly. The sauce should have been served on the side instead. There was also so much mustard in the Bulgogi Beef Burger soaking through the buns that my wife had to abandon the burger after 1 bite. In the end, she went to ask if there could be a refund/exchange of the burger. The front staff only offered new replacement buns, which didn't come for a good 10 minutes. Nor did they give specific instructions on how the replacement bun was coming. My wife had to go to the front counter herself to remind them about it and get it herself eventually. - There are many food delivery orders, and they're displayed on the LED screen so that everyone knows your queue sequence/priority. Perhaps ordering delivery is the better way to eat Jinjja Chicken? - Food portions are okay, but prices are quite steep. The Student Meal Deal ($7.50 for main+fries+drink) is a good deal but only available from 11 am to 6 pm. - The "Add $2.40 to get a Fries and Drink" deal is somewhat of a scam. It seems to only apply to soft drinks. If you want the Yuzu/Yuzu Soda, you need to add a further 60 cents.

Food is great, I will definitely eat there again. Seats are limited; we waited about 15 minutes to get one. The ambience is warm. My friend and I were perspiring a bit even though we weren't eating spicy food. Not sure if they have their own air conditioning or are relying on the mall's AC.

yummyyumfood😋 food was so good absbbdj. the fries were vv crispy and hot oso. i love my drink🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕

Yummy food! The food was so good. The fries were very crispy and hot too. I love my drink (I love orange juice, oh my gosh, so happy they offer it!). I was watching a mukbang of 炸酱面 (zhá jiàng miàn) last night at 2 am, so I was very craving it. Then I came here today to eat. It was very nice. I think this is Korean 炸酱面, but it tastes very similar to the Chinese one. I'm from China, so I know. Okay, actually, I'm not from the North, maybe the 炸酱面 I ate when I was younger wasn't 'authentic' either. I came here on a Tuesday and got this student meal set for $7.50. So worth it, right? My food came very fast, maybe because it wasn't peak hour, but I don't know. Oh yeah, the guy at the counter was very welcoming and friendly. Very attentive service. My only complaint is that it's quite hot, especially since I was wearing a pinafore, if you know what I mean. Can't really blame them though, the store is located right beside the entrance of the mall, all the 'cold air' from the aircon escapes. Also, because it's still early (came in around 1:40 pm?), maybe the aircon hasn't been turned on that long/high yet. I have come here during peak hour, and it's usually cooler. Anyway, yayaya, yummy food!

Tried their 12-piece fried chicken as they're running a $10 anniversary promo, which is a pretty good deal. The chicken was nicely battered and crispy, but they went overboard with the sauces. It became a bit too savoury, especially without a drink to balance it out. It would have been better if they had just drizzled some sauce and left the rest on the side. One thing that could use improvement is the ordering process – it wasn’t clear that you need to find a seat before ordering. I asked one of the staff about it, and she seemed pretty uninterested in helping, which was a bit off-putting. On the bright side, the food came out fast. Overall, definitely worth it with the promo going on, but there’s room to improve, especially in terms of service and clarity.

We've lost count of how many times we've been to the Jinjja NEX outlet. The fried chicken and kimbap are both good and highly recommended! But our underrated favorite is the tofu or chicken bibimsalad. It's super value for money, costing only $7.90 in a world where salads often go for $15++.
