Bought Thai basil chicken from here. The poster showed $5.50, but she charged me $5.80! (Apparently, there's a 30-cent extra charge for takeaway, but how are we supposed to eat there and not takeaway?)

Didn't like that customers were made to use plastic. They seem to want to earn from the container. The staff SHOUTED at my ELDERLY mom for asking them to use plastic. Just impose a rule saying no to plastic, and customers will need to pay for a container if they're unhappy. Won't patronise anymore. There are plenty of these shops around anyway. :)

Overpriced bee hoon & dishes for $6.20!! visited stall on 22nd Aug 1130am. Awful fry maggi as it was

Overpriced bee hoon and dishes for $6.20! Visited the stall on 22nd Aug at 11:30 am. The fried maggi was awful, tough and dry, almost like leftovers from breakfast. The dishes were acceptable but oily. I told the auntie not to give so much, but she insisted on her way. Please, auntie, don't waste resources like that. I wasn't expecting much from this kind of stall, but please maintain some standards! If you don't have a heart for customers, don't sell food. Have dignity and pride in what you do. Definitely my first and last visit.

The food was mediocre. The 雞絲麵 (Mee Soto) had very little chicken. It was also too hot inside. I appreciate the Chinese translation attached to the dish pictures because some dish names are in Malay and not in English, even though they resemble English. Tourists and expats might have a hard time deciphering all those secret codes if there is no translation.

Misleading food menu. I thought the chicken chop was grilled, but it turned out to be a chicken cutlet. Please do not buy the so-called chicken chop.

Khun Thai Carrot Cake ($2.80). Who knew you could get such cheap, delicious, and fantastic #Halal carrot cake from an MRT station, and such a big packet too! Messy, eggy fried carrot cake doused in kicap manis with a splat of spicy sambal. Sweet and savoury notes with a light crisp in each mouthful. By the way, the strong aroma made that particular MRT cabin I was in smell the wonderful essence of it. I wonder how others felt about it.
