Kopitiam represents Singapore's evolution of traditional hawker culture, transforming the beloved kopitiam experience into modern, air-conditioned food courts across the island. With over 70 outlets operated by NTUC Enterprise since 2018, Kopitiam has become an integral part of Singapore's dining landscape, offering the best local hawker fare at affordable prices.
Each Kopitiam food court houses a diverse collection of stalls serving iconic Singaporean favorites including Hainanese chicken rice, laksa, char kway teow, yong tau foo, and kaya toast, alongside international cuisines from Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, and Japanese traditions. Special outlets like Plaza Singapura feature Michelin-approved hawkers, bringing award-winning flavours under one roof.
Beyond just food, Kopitiam serves as important community spaces where Singaporeans from all walks of life gather daily. Recently revitalized locations at major malls feature thoughtful interior designs and comfortable modern environments while maintaining the authentic taste and competitive pricing that makes hawker culture accessible to everyone.

Avoid this new 'Simply Noodle' stall at all costs. They claimed their lor mee as best seller, but the gravy is so watery and the taste is bland. The portion is small, and the cook doesn't seem to be bothered with his cooking.

The duck rice stall is very expensive. One portion of roasted pork and barbecue pork costs over $7, while the stall on the upper level sells it for only $5.30. Worse still, the stall staff wearing large earrings was very rude and had an attitude problem. I will never visit this stall again.

The reason for giving one star is because the roasted pork and duck stall provides very bad service and attitudes. 1) The staff kept busy talking with each other without asking what the customer needs and didn’t bother to reply when I asked for enquiries about the food menu. The worst part is they don’t even bother to ask customers whether they want sauce with their rice. Anyway, the rice tasted like overnight rice and it was cold. 2) The staff put up a very bad face in front of the customer while serving, as if I owed them tons of money. Kopitiak management should look into this matter seriously, as this will affect the image of NTUC management since they took over the kopitiam.

They forced everyone to pay an additional 10 cents for their paper cups. Other kopitiam outlets provide plastic bags for takeaway orders. This outlet is quite disappointing. The staff were also rude. The handles of the cups were stained and sticky, and their skills in preparing takeaway orders were very poor. It really explains their low reviews. (: I hope their management does something to ensure quality.

Visited the cai fan and western stall after the renovation. The cai fan stall's curry was more like chilli water, lacking the aroma of coconut milk or spices.
Ordered fish & chips from the western stall, and it came without tartar sauce?
Jom's chicken rice was expensive, but the serving was generous. The rice was not fragrant enough, and the tau guah was not seasoned properly, making it tasteless.

The Kopitiam food court was recently renovated, and I found this new stall selling HK-style CCH. The overall taste was good and worth a return purchase.

New Chendol stall run by a friendly lady. You can taste the thick coconut cream and the shavings of pure gula melaka. The soft green chendol is authentic, while the red beans are moist and cooked just right, without being overly sweet. Only $2.50 for pure delight. Just one tiny suggestion: swap the plastic spoon for a metal one. That would make a delicious treat even more cool.

The place was generally clean. There were quite a number of stalls selling different varieties of cooked food.
I wanted to try their cooked food at the mixed vegetables stall.
I was attracted by their bright, colourful food and decided to try some of them.
The dishes were good but were a bit too oily and salty.

Ordered the Dang Gui duck but it was replaced with roasted chicken as it was sold out. The portion for the chicken was too small, gone in one mouthful. The rice was too wet and mushy, feeling like it wasn't good quality rice. The charsiew and siew yuk were well-seasoned with a nice texture. The chili sauce and sambal paste were not bad. Total cost was $8.50, but I think it was only worth $6.50 with the chicken. The place is equipped with air-conditioning, but the door was kept open, so it wasn't cool at all.
