Bought mee rebus today. There were no garnishes in the serving at all. When I asked why there were no celery, green chillies, spring onions, and fried shallots, the server, in an unfriendly manner, replied that they don't serve mee rebus with any garnishes. The gravy was too thin and too oily. Yet I was charged $6 for that kind of mee rebus? Overcharged and underserved!

Records are meant to be broken... and I just broke one here when I bought my lunch. At $12.30 for a food court meal, I was shocked! Although it was pretty delicious and the serving size was good, for the price they charged, I won't be surprised if they go out of business soon. I mean, how many people will afford (willingly) to pay that much for a meal at a food court?
I will admit that I ordered three dishes: sambal mussels, tofu with tempeh, and one egg omelette. The mussels were treated as a "seafood" dish, which isn't wrong, but that itself was $5. Anyone who's been to a supermarket will know mussels aren't that expensive.
So, really shocked, despite feeling pretty satisfied with the meal. I won't be back here again for sure.
