Using the NTUC app to order food, after discount it's $5.49 for a small portion. The taste is okay; you can taste more than just black sauce, with some savory notes, but it lacks that 'wok hei' smell. Service is friendly. The only downsides are the price and the small, expensive portion.

Just walked past the B1 food court at Paya Lebar Square today and was pleasantly surprised to see that it has undergone a major renovation. The space now feels much cleaner, brighter, and more inviting, with what seems like a wider variety of food options compared to before. I decided to give it another try.
I ordered the minced beef with egg rice from one of the Thai stalls. While I would’ve preferred the traditional minced pork (which wasn’t available as the stall is Halal-certified), the dish was still decent. The flavor was mild—not too spicy—which I appreciated. Overall, a good experience and worth revisiting.

This Korean stall is located within Cantine at Paya Lebar Square. The service was really unpleasant, and the $10 beef kimbap had cuts of beef that were chewy, not tender. I won't be back.

I'm so disappointed by the taste and quality of the food here. The ratio of egg to starch to oyster was like 30:60:10. It was under-seasoned and tasted like a slab of oily, gummy starch. The oysters were also seriously small. Not worth the $9.50 I paid; it felt like daylight robbery.

Saw quite a bunch of people eating this dry mala hotpot and decided to give it a try. Gave 1 star because: 1. The staff's attitude was terribly rude. (Definitely not expecting "service" in a food court, but she was far worse.) 2. The price is stated clearly, however, we weren't sure how she weighed and decided which food items belonged to which categories. For example, lotus root should be a vegetable (which cost $1.20), but she added it to the mushroom category (costing $2.50). And the Taiwanese sausage suddenly became a cheap hotdog when served. We just don't think it's worth the price. We could have visited a proper restaurant with better service, a wider selection, and a more entitled environment. But mainly, I gave this price because of the lady staff. Will NEVER GO BACK.
