The focaccia I ordered was served recently-frozen and still cold, with a white interior. The soup quantity was also insufficient for $7.5.

Ordered takeaway around 8:30 PM. There were two staff members present. The lady was busy washing dishes, and the male staff member was occupied with the cashier machine. For about five minutes, no one attended to my order. Later, as I was leaving, the male staff member said thank you while still looking at the machine. The staff's attitude was at the lowest, unacceptable level.

I placed my order at 4:13 pm but only received it at 4:26 pm. During this time, I noticed that customers who ordered after me were served first. When I asked if my order had been missed, I was told I had to wait for “the other person to come back.” Meanwhile, my soup sampler was left on the tray and was already cold by the time it was served to me. There was no apology or explanation for the delay. On top of that, the Caesar salad I received did not include sundried tomatoes, which have always been part of the salad during my previous visits. Overall, it was a disappointing experience compared to the standard I’ve come to expect here.

Ordered through Foodpanda on 28 July at 6pm. We found the chicken teriyaki sandwich box closed but not sealed with tape. Horrified to find chicken slices, tomato, and pineapple at the bottom of the bag, underneath the sandwich boxes and soup cups. This is highly concerning in terms of food safety and definitely not what we expected after paying $45 for two sandwich sets. The soup also seemed diluted compared to previous orders. We will not order again from the Paya Lebar outlet.

The area is rather small with only 8 tables, meaning a total of 16 diners at any one time. There were some hiccups in the preparation of my coffee, so it took longer than usual. Nonetheless, it was just a ten-minute wait. Food is great. The teriyaki sandwich had chicken that was juicy and tender, and the mayonnaise, rocket leaves, pineapple, and tomato added flavour to the savoury chicken. There was a nice touch of chilli sauce in the clam chowder. It was actually a bit unusual to see that at first, but I realised it helped to cut through the overwhelming richness of the chowder.
