The staff working here are not helpful at all, especially since the self-kiosk started. The salad always has no rice, even though the sushi does. I asked them for help, but they were unwilling to assist. Other outlets have much better service than Makisan Lot One. The staff member who was nonchalant was a Chinese girl working on September 13th at 7 PM. Please do better.

The quality has deteriorated after months of not having it. They are also really stingy with their portions; 8 pieces of slivered crab stick, 6 pieces of 2cm cubes of tamagoyaki, a splat of avocado, and the portion of peri peri chicken has shrunk to 1/8 of what I've gotten in the past. I will NEVER patronise them AGAIN. The meat-free nugget was also served cold and tasted of the fridge, which was really disgusting. Hygiene is also a cause for concern as staff do not wear their masks properly and handle food without concern for cross-contamination. They really do not deserve a star.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Do Not Go Here I would highly advise against visiting this Makisan outlet. I had a deeply frustrating and disappointing experience that left me completely dissatisfied. After placing my order and showing a physical receipt from PayNow as proof of payment, the staff refused to proceed with my order because they couldn’t find it on their system. Even though I provided clear evidence, they made no effort to resolve the situation. When I requested to speak with a manager, they claimed nothing could be done, which only added to my frustration. Instead of working to fix the issue, the staff seemed more focused on showing their own frustration towards me. This kind of service is absolutely unacceptable. I will not be returning to this store again, and I would strongly recommend other customers avoid it as well. If the management does not take immediate action to improve the standards of service, I will ensure that businesses like this are held accountable for their poor customer treatment. No one should have to deal with such unprofessionalism.

Maki-San is at an all-time low; quite literally tasting the worst it has been in a decade. The staff never follows the requests or instructions given and is really stingy with the sauce (cannot taste anything at all, when in the past the maki roll was bursting with flavour). I have requested this for multiple (>10) orders in a row and yet I keep coming back disappointed each time. The avocado is always smelly or mushy, and occasionally other ingredients such as the asparagus too, which proves they do not monitor their food quality and/or freshness. The rice can either be overcooked or undercooked. This will mark the end of my patronage permanently.

Hi Makisan HR, I just want to share my experience here at Makisan at the CCK Lot One outlet. I ordered a bowl and it was phenomenal. My experience with the customer service was top-notch, and they greeted me with such positive energy. Everything on display seemed fresh, and it tasted fresh with nice flavours, adding a pleasant touch to everything. They also recommended what to choose, and I'm glad I listened to them as it was such a good experience. I will come here again and again. I will recommend coming here. I like Makisan as a healthy food option, but I noticed that they tend to run out of protein items. For instance, I tried to order chicken strips at 1pm+ over a month ago, and they were already out of stock. Then, on two recent days, I tried to order steamed ebi/prawns in the late afternoon, and they were also out of stock. I think the outlet really needs to ensure protein items are well-stocked, as customers tend to order them.

The food was delicious, apart from the fact that it wasn't as hot as I'd hoped. I asked the aunty for no mayo, and she initially said she couldn't, then said she was just kidding. I didn't find it particularly funny, but I appreciate that she tried to make a joke.

Good experience ordering from this outlet. The staff was courteous and helpful. The food, especially the tempura enoki, is gooooood. The portion is just nice for one person.
