Food is average. If you crave Indonesian food, do try. Perhaps the best dish is the patty begedil. You can ask for green and red chili paste if you like.

Came to satisfy my nasi padang craving after seeing good reviews. Only the chicken tasted quite good with chilli. Other than that, the bean sprouts were overcooked, and the egg was ordinary. The sour sop drink at $3 tasted like it was from a carton. The total bill was $10.50. My other gripe is the use of plastic utensils, making it so hard to eat chicken with. Overall, not worth coming again.

The prices here are high. I ordered one meat, one vegetable, and one egg, which cost $9.50.
Then I saw the menu stating:
1 meat, 1 vegetable: $8
1 meat, 2 vegetables: $8.50
1 meat, 3 vegetables: $9
Perhaps the egg isn't considered a vegetable.
The taste is decent, but there aren't many seats.
Food court nasi padang might be slightly cheaper with a similar taste.

Ate here during lunch. There's always a long queue, so today I went in to see what the hype was about. I ordered beef slices cooked in two different ways. The beef was thin, with only four pieces, and I didn't get any drink. The plate of rice was $12, which for me is way too pricey.
Just my two cents worth of opinion; one man's meat is another man's poison. Taste-wise, it's okay, but not worth $12, lol. I don't understand the hype.

Possibly one of the worst nasi padangs I've ever had. I cannot understand all the good reviews; they've probably not had proper nasi padang yet. The food was severely lacking flavour. The lemak chili padi was totally bland, and the green and red sambals had zero spice. I would not recommend this place at all if you're craving nasi padang; any other option out there is going to be better for sure. However, I must credit the friendly staff for being accommodating to my request for extra sambal.

My number one most favourite Minang eatery in SG!!!
Been here many times and finally leaving my review. The dishes available were quite varied, with lots of meat, vegetables, and other options to choose from.
I always come with my partner, so we eat Padang-style, ordering many small dishes of food. In this review, I ordered the sambal goreng, Ayam gulai, sambal telur, bergedel, and stir-fried cabbage (kol).
I must insist that the sambal goreng here is one of the best I’ve eaten so far in SG. It has a home-cooked flavour and is usually served warm. The cabbage is always crunchy and goes so well with the sambal merah and cabe ijo (which you can ask for from the stall). The highlight, of course, is the chili – it really makes you sweat if you eat a lot of it! Haha.
There are great options like rendang beef, Ayam goreng, and also sayur lodeh. Various combinations to try!!
Can’t wait for my next meal here. Sampai nanti!! Oh yes, the aunties here are really friendly. She remembered my partner and me visiting often :)

Popular nasi padang restoran inside Lucky Plaza that typically enjoys long queues during lunch time.
A popular nasi padang restaurant inside Lucky Plaza that typically sees long queues during lunchtime. The beef rendang and other chicken dishes are nice. The sambal belachan would taste better if it were spicier. Prices are reasonable, and the stall owners are friendly.

This is the closest nasi padang taste to Indonesia you can find in Singapore. I can see some comment
This is the closest nasi padang taste to Indonesia you can find in Singapore. I can see some comments from people who may not be a fan of Indonesian flavour, because Minang House definitely offers a true Indonesian taste and flavour profile, unlike random nasi padang stores in Singapore where the taste is nothing like Indonesia. It's the only nasi padang store that satisfies our craving without having to travel back to Indo. The prices are fair and reflect the authenticity of their dishes.
