One of the worst otah I've had. It was mostly rempah with no fish meat, and extremely spicy. For $4.50 for 5 pieces, there was no fish meat to be found. Strongly NOT recommended.

Today I bought 10 pieces of otak-otak. The price has now increased to $9 for 10 pieces. I'm very disappointed as there's no more fish and very little coconut paste. If you increase the price, it's okay, we understand, but why has the quality dropped? That's why when I went there, there was no queue.

I understand if you need to raise prices, but please be reasonable to maintain quality and quantity. The taste has dropped, and it's no longer value for money. I can't taste any fish anymore.

The taste and texture are interesting and worth a try. It's different from the usual otak, more like eating coconut flakes with a fishy taste, and resembles "dry" satay a little. The size is very inconsistent, though; I bought 10 and 3 of them were quite thin. Overall, the size has shrunk a lot compared to past photos I saw from other reviews.

The otak otak is very crumbly, and unfortunately, there's a lot more coconut than fish. The taste itself is alright, but the texture isn't what you look for in otak otak. Disappointed and would not recommend.

This otak is unlike any other I have ever had in my almost 50 years on this earth! It has a much deeper flavour of curry and spice, and its texture is so unique. It’s less smooth and flakier than the “regular” otak. Speaking to the boss, I learned that this is because a good deal of coconut flakes go into their otak, together with the fish meat. The absence of flour, which is used more copiously in regular otak, makes this otak special and crumblier. Dare I say this is the best otak I’ve had in as long as I can remember!

Not your ordinary otak otak. The paste is made with a coconut mixture, which is not normally found in many places. The taste depends on your liking. The queue can get very long, especially with orders being made. I like how they manage the otak otak preparation, arranging the cooking time towards the packing process.

This is not your usual otak. They do not mix flour in theirs, so the otak doesn't stick together in one piece like the usual ones. However, the flavour is still as good and would certainly go well with rice.
