I placed my belongings on the table in front of the stall and ordered food from another stall to dine in. However, one of the staff members deliberately sat there when I went to order food, as if to show that the table belonged to their stall for them to sit at, when it doesn't. I understand that when there are no customers, staff might prefer to sit at the table in front of the stall as it's convenient, as I work in a stall too. But if a customer wants to sit there, they should be given priority. This is unacceptable and very rude. The staff member in question is the one I showed in the picture.

I wish the service had been better, and that the waitress had been more attentive to us. There were no other customers, so we could have received better service. They should have informed us of the night's price for the seafood, as the price is per kg and changes daily. The food was not particularly special, though the crab was big and filled us up very well. The total came up to $196 for two pieces of 800g crab ($136), soup, sambal kangkong ($8), six pieces of mantou, two bowls of plain white rice, one canned drink, jasmine Chinese tea, and coffee.

The waitress just sat there. Food came with no utensils and no condiments. She seemed to be preoccupied, perhaps breaking her boss's rice bowl. No smiles, no service...

The food is not bad. I particularly enjoyed the fish head curry. However, the place has a terrible smell, as if the furniture is rotten. The worst part is the toilet. It's dirty, lacks soap, the flush is faulty, and you have to go through a rusty metal gate to reach it.

Super fresh and yummy seafood. I'm usually not a seafood person, but seriously, I'm sold! Love the Thai fish, which was very appetising, and the prawn paste chicken is so crispy. The salted egg yolk sotong is nice, as is the butter prawn. Chili crab, needless to say! And the sour sop drink, which I rarely see served anywhere. Will be back for more seafood!

Another hidden gem in the eastern part of Singapore. We ordered the Hokkien Mee, 3-egg + spinach soup, and grilled sotong. All the dishes were delicious and homemade style, not overly oily or salty. The must-try dish is the grilled sotong. It's not listed on the menu, so you need to ask for it. The sambal chilli served with the grilled sotong elevates its slightly charred taste to another level.

Delicious local Singaporean favourite zichar dishes! Affordable with a lot of choices, so you can keep coming back to try different dishes and combinations. Perfect for dining in as there are other stalls here, allowing you to mix and match different cuisines.
Most importantly, they are a Muslim-owned establishment and are Halal!
