Subway Singapore has achieved full halal certification across all 131 outlets, representing a significant milestone after the franchise stopped serving pork products in 2018 to meet MUIS (Islamic Religious Council of Singapore) strict requirements. This global submarine sandwich chain now offers complete halal dining for Muslim customers, making their extensive menu accessible to Singapore's diverse population.
The restaurant specializes in customizable submarine sandwiches available in 6-inch and foot-long sizes, prepared fresh before your eyes with a wide assortment of halal-certified meats, cheeses, vegetables and toppings on freshly baked bread. Popular menu items include the tender Chicken Teriyaki, zesty Italian B.M.T.®, hearty Roasted Chicken, and the unique Chilli Crab Sub that blends traditional Singapore flavors with the iconic Subway experience.
After almost seven months of transition process, all Subway restaurants in Singapore now display official MUIS halal certificates, ensuring compliance with Islamic dietary laws. This transformation from 22 years of serving non-halal items to complete halal certification demonstrates Subway's commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, making them a trusted choice for Muslims seeking convenient, customizable sandwich options across the island.

Poor Service at Subway (14 July 2025, 3:00 PM)
Despite the store being relatively empty, service was unprofessional and discourteous. A particular Indian female staff member, whose name I did not catch, was visibly impatient and dismissive when we asked simple questions about customizing our order – a basic part of the Subway experience. Her tone and body language were rude and clearly reflected a lack of interest in assisting customers. Even with a mask on, it was clear she took no pride in her work, and her antisocial behavior is not befitting for this line of work.
Though we remained polite throughout, she failed to offer basic courtesies and did not provide any napkins with our order. We had to return to the counter with dirty hands to ask for them.
Such behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the brand. I hope this issue is taken seriously and addressed appropriately.

The staff looked angry even though there was no queue, and seemed lost and rude when ordering. Two staff were working but it took so long. When making my sub, the portion was pathetic with only 3-4 pieces of meat and a small drizzle of sauce. If you're not happy, then don't work here.

Avoid this Subway. The service by the staff here is poor, as others have mentioned. The staff on the night shift (I believe they were Malay) were watching a loud video on their phone while making my sandwich and were rude to customers. Subway, if you're reading this, please improve your hiring process!

Ordered a footlong Cold Cut Trio and a six-inch Subway Melt. I requested for the sandwiches to be labelled so I wouldn't get confused about which was which. However, a male staff member, who was very rude, wrongly marked the 'Subway Melt' on the Cold Cut Trio! So, the staff expect customers to open up all the sandwiches one by one to find out they were wrongly labelled!? To the Subway staff, please ensure you do not wrongly label sandwiches anymore, and your customer service should be improved further. On one day, I'm greeted with 'Welcome to Subway,' and on another day, I'm greeted with 'Yes, order?' Where are your standards????

I had a very disappointing experience at this Subway outlet. I ordered a sandwich with only lettuce, tomato, and onions, and politely asked the staff if I could have a bit more lettuce and onions. She told me it was “over standard” and refused to add more unless I paid extra. When I asked again, she reluctantly added just a few strands of vegetables, which felt very dismissive and insincere. The final sandwich had barely any vegetables, even though I didn’t ask for anything excessive — just a reasonable amount to fill the bread. I’ve never had this issue at other Subway outlets in Singapore, and I’ve always believed Subway allows small customisations like this. This experience made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. I really hope Subway will look into this, because it doesn’t reflect the brand experience I expect.

I like visiting this Subway outlet as the staff are always friendly. They are also generous with their vegetable portions, which is great to see. The bread is consistently toasted to perfection, offering a satisfying crunch in every bite. The wrap is equally delicious. I always leave feeling satisfied.

A standard Subway outlet. Subway is one of my favorite foods as it's very healthy. Similar to other fast food, the meals offered here are quite standard for Subway. The staff at this outlet are very friendly, which I think is a winning point. My family and I visit here regularly, and all the staff remember us and usually have short, friendly chats. They even encouraged my daughter in her studies. They are willing to provide detailed information when we ask about food calories and ingredients.
