I am giving one star because I am a bread fanatic and I can tell you Swee Heng is one of my top few favourite bakeries in SG. Otherwise, I would have given zero stars due to the extremely bad attitude of all the staff in the shop. My mother bought a customized cake on 24 Apr, 1pm, and none of the three staff bothered to answer her queries. They completely ignored her presence.
I'm not looking for extremely top-notch service, but I hope basic manners are not too high an expectation.
This outlet is recommended for anyone who wants to pay to experience bad service.

The staff there are really unprofessional, especially one lady who is of medium height, slim build with shoulder-length, rebonded-looking hair. She always gives attitude when we come to make a purchase. We always go there around 9am to 9:30am without fail, but they make us wait like fools before scanning our food. Especially today, the staff was happily talking to the customer before us, but when it was our turn, she was busy doing her own things and made us wait. This has been happening most of the time. There's CCTV, please go and review it. I am stating facts about the staff.

Gave my daughter mini hotdog buns that came in a package of 5. Wrapped inside the bun, together with the mini hotdog, was a sharp piece of plastic. What would have happened if she swallowed it? This was a very life-threatening incident that clearly could have been avoided. I will be lodging a complaint with SFA and NEA.

There seems to be an issue with their hiring practices, as staff at most outlets are rude and unpleasant, and this outlet is no exception. The company has also been continually increasing prices of all their goods every other month by a huge margin. For example, the same bread I've been purchasing has had its price increased more than three times over just three months! It's no longer worth supporting.
