Staff were friendly and diligent. The food taste was just okay for me, but their coffee was nice. I tried the hot one this time. One sip was good, but sadly, after leaving it for a while, the taste got surprisingly different, not as good as the first sip. I regretted drinking it earlier. Anyhow, I want to try the cold one next time. The ambiance is cozy and relaxing, even on weekends. Personally, it's recommendable to enjoy time over drinks rather than meals.

Last weekend we visited Tanamera Coffee @ Robertson Quay! Tucked snugly into a row of shophouses, the black and red themed coffeehouse had both indoor and alfresco dining. We got to try vibrant Indonesian dishes and some lovely drinks. We absolutely loved and enjoyed their Crispy Duck Spring Rolls ($12.80)! These were crispy spring roll skins that (somehow withstood the long duration of phototaking, oops!) wrapped around shredded duck, carrot, and vermicelli with a nuoc cham dipping sauce. Another crowd favourite was the Squid Ink Fried Rice with Braised Beef Ribs ($17.80), which features squid ink fried rice, braised beef ribs, and a sunny-side up egg. The rice was a gorgeous black and was on the wetter side, but it carried the deep flavours of squid ink with a hint of umami. The braised ribs, though not fall-off-the-bone tender, were well executed and tasty. The Oxtail Soup ($15.80) was chockful of potatoes, carrots, and oxtail. This dish is definitely best devoured while hot, if not it can get surfeiting once it's cold. And you must eat this with the rice on the side - the broth is SO rich with flavours and makes for a hearty meal! Other dishes we had included their value-for-money Nasi Goreng Kampung | Grandma's Special Fried Rice ($17.80) and the Gado Gado ($12.80) (highly recommend to have it asap!). We tried out their their Red Velvet Latte ($6.50), a gorgeous red drink that tasted like a milky hot cocoa, and their Matcha Latte ($6.50). The matcha isn't super intense and is on the sweeter side. P.S. we love how there is no price difference between ordering hot and cold drinks here! Follow us on IG @sgfoodiefinds for more foodie content!

We dropped by for coffee in the late afternoon and then the next day for lunch. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere comfortable and relaxed, and the coffee was really nice. We had the daily batch brew on the first visit. They offer a wide range of options, including hot and cold brews, so we tried two cold brews when we returned for lunch. Both were pleasant and easy to drink. There is also an extensive food menu with Indonesian and Western options. We tried the mie cumi and the tahu telor. Both were very tasty. The noodles were nicely spicy, while the tahu telor had a great combination of texture and flavor. Overall, I'm giving it five stars because it exceeded expectations, offering good coffee, delicious food, reasonable prices, and friendly service. I wasn't left wanting anything or thinking, "If only they had...". Definitely recommended for a nice place to grab a cup of coffee or a bite to eat and relax. Worth a visit.

Came here for breakfast and was so impressed. Tried a medium roast coffee from a local roastery, and it was an absolute delight. The aroma was rich and inviting, with notes of caramel and dark chocolate. Upon tasting, the coffee revealed a smooth and well-balanced flavor profile, with hints of nuttiness and a subtle citrus acidity that added a refreshing brightness. The finish was clean and satisfying, leaving a pleasant lingering taste. This coffee is perfect for those who appreciate a complex yet approachable cup, and I highly recommend it for both morning brews and afternoon pick-me-ups.

Great vibes. Had a nice and pleasant experience here. Enjoyed the cold brew range! It wasn’t sweet and the taste was quite strong. Ordered the Mie Cumi and nasi goreng. The nasi goreng was nice and the portion was quite huge, however the mie cumi tasted a little like mee rebus (on the sweeter side). Will return for the cold brews and nasi goreng. Prices are on the higher side though, $18-$22++ for noodles/rice. Service was decent.

Tanamera Coffee at Robertson Quay offers a pleasant riverside café experience. Their coffee is well executed; the flat white was rich and aromatic. The menu also features Indonesian-inspired snacks, including tempeh and pisang goreng (fried banana). While delicious, these snacks tend to be a bit greasy. The tempeh provides a satisfying crunch, and the pisang goreng offers a sweet, indulgent treat. The location along the quay adds to its appeal, making it a nice spot for a coffee break or light snack while enjoying the riverside atmosphere and trying to escape the hot weather.
