I ordered the Tokyo stew, but it had a weird, fishy smell, almost like it was spoiled. I'm not sure if that's the intended taste or if something was off. I even had to go to the toilet a few times after eating. I expected much better quality for the price I paid.

This isn't the best Soup Spoon outlet, but we frequent it often due to its proximity to our home.
Please do not use tough croutons for your Caesar Salad; they are so burnt and chewy. When we provided feedback to the staff, he simply said, "Oh, we use sourdough bread, so it's like this." May we suggest to the management to reconsider using sourdough bread, or any tough leftover bread that nobody eats? Croutons are meant to be a crunchy topping, not pieces of leather to train your incisors. I urge the management to return to culinary school because this is unacceptable.
The mobile ordering Souperholic app is also maddening. The image files for coupons are not easily visible, and you have to manually click on them to expand the description. Just ask your developer to do a better job. We didn't manage to see the free broccoli side dish and asked the staff if they could add it to our order, but the answer was, "No, you have to make another order."
Despite the poor serving quantity at AMKhub compared to other outlets, we've been willing consumers because we believe the nutritional quality of your food is better than much of the junk out there. However, finally, enough is enough. We no longer have to put up with the lacklustre food, as this is our last visit to this sub-standard outlet. The air conditioning in the basement of AMKHUB is also non-existent these days. It's not their fault, but it certainly makes our decision easier.

A standard Soup Spoon outlet, with consistent taste to other branches. The salad here is pretty good, though the portion is quite small and pricey. The good thing is the very convenient location in AMK Hub, so I would probably come back due to the restaurant's close proximity. Overall, I'll give it 3 stars!

The people preparing the food were using their gloved hands to place the fresh raw veggies into the bowls, and then used the same gloves to touch the trays, their mobile phones (phones are known to be full of bacteria), and to scratch their heads. I think the restaurant manager needs to review the hygiene and food handling standards for this restaurant. Service was also quite slow; even though lunch traffic was not high, we still waited quite a while to receive our food.

My order stayed in the 'preparing' stage for a very long time. At least 20 other customers were served before me. I complained at the 30-minute mark and again at the 40-minute mark. I noticed a staff member grab the chicken fillet (a side I ordered) from the kitchen and place it with my soup, which was already at the cashier. I don't know how long the soup had been left there. My total wait time for this takeaway order from Soup Spoon was 43 minutes. I will never return.

I don’t usually write Google reviews, but I had to make an exception for The Soup Spoon because they truly deserve it. The staff here is incredibly friendly and welcoming; they’re quick and attentive.
The food is always fantastic – flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. If you’re looking to eat clean, it’s hands down the best place to get a salad at Ang Mo Kio Hub.
A huge thank you to the staff for their amazing service. I hope they continue to keep up the amazing service; I’ll definitely visit often :) Highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

The dining area was quite empty on a weekday. Ordering through the kiosk was easy. The service crew were patient and quick to clear used trays of utensils and cutlery.
I realized that my Rosella tea and spinach, which I had ordered on the app, were not received by the outlet. It was my first time trying out the app, and after sending in the order, an order number came through without me having to make payment. I went to the outlet to clarify, and the staff on duty said the order did not go through. When I checked the app, the items were no longer available for redemption either.
The beef goulash was a tad too sourish, and my children did not really fancy the taste. The burger tasted really great.

Dropped by The Soup Spoon for... you guessed it, salad! They have plenty of options, and it's not bad! The price is average for a salad, around $15-20. That being said, it didn't necessarily fill me up, and I didn't want to spend another $8 on soup. If you're a salad hunter, it's definitely worth a try as it is tasty!

On Saturday, 13/9/2025, I was at AMK Hub and decided to have a meal at Soup Spoon. Usually, the staff here are very nice, friendly, and helpful. Especially the uncle there. I will definitely drop by here again. The service is a bit different from the Orchard area.

My food was okay. It was hot and fresh, unlike what other reviewers mentioned.
The restaurant looked a bit stale, perhaps due to the mall lighting, I'm not sure. The chiller was completely empty, the TV screens were dull with strange colours. The fresh food counter looked sad, and the 'collect here' light box was off. I actually thought they were closed at first.
I saw flies because the tray return area had uncleared food. I can't blame the two staff, though. I didn't see them stop moving the whole time. I suspect it's due to a lot of Foodpanda takeaway orders. I was there during dinner time on a Thursday evening.
Perhaps the restaurant needs a renovation to spruce up its look and feel a bit. And maybe an extra staff member during dinner time.
