Went to the Downtown East outlet. It was quiet and there were no other customers, but the kitchen still took 25 minutes to cook one dish we ordered. We also ordered waffles as dessert, which came to us raw in the middle. Extremely slow service and a disappointing experience.

Walked past and saw not many people, so we went in. Ordered a mango smoothie, soup, and chocolate ice cream waffle. The waiting time was so long. We ordered a chocolate ice cream waffle, but what came was a vanilla ice cream waffle, which was totally disappointing.

The staff had an issue cooking a hard-boiled egg for the rice bowl, claiming it was preset. I had difficulty ordering every item. There was no ice. The staff were very polite but clueless. They were smiling all the time but couldn't get the orders done. Kudos. I need help. Is it possible to give negative stars?

I always wonder why this page is always empty. Now I know.... we tried to finish up our paid dessert

I always wondered why this place was always empty. Now I know... We tried to finish our paid desserts but couldn't. The ice cream came melted, waffles weren't crispy, and the lava cake wasn't nice. Very disappointed. Forks and knives came dirty! Tables and chairs were unkempt and not cleaned at all. One lady staff member was always on her phone instead of keeping the place neat and clean. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN‼️

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE Rating: ⭐⭐ I've been a frequent visitor to The Tree Cafe, drawn in by its cozy ambiance and delightful menu. However, my recent experience was a roller coaster of emotions, to say the least. Let's start with the service. Our server, unfortunately, seemed preoccupied with an earpiece and a constant stream of calls, leaving us feeling neglected. It was frustrating trying to get their attention, and when we did, our order was still mixed up. To make matters worse, they laid the blame on us for the delay in processing our payment. We ended up waiting close to 30 minutes for our food, which was far from ideal. When our dessert arrived, it was a baffling surprise. We had explicitly requested it to be served later, but it came out as the first course. It felt like a major oversight. Adding to the beverage woes, there was a shortage of ice, leaving us with a limited choice of canned or hot drinks. Now, onto a silver lining - the food. Despite the service hiccups, the dishes were as delicious as ever. The flavors were on point, and it's a testament to the kitchen's skill that the meal managed to salvage the experience. All in all, it's disheartening to recount this experience. As a returning customer, I expected more. The Tree Cafe has consistently delivered great food, but this visit left me with a sour taste. I hope this serves as constructive feedback for them to address these service issues.

Worth the money for the big portion! The ambience is very chill and relaxing. Fries were crispy and not soggy. Add $2.50 for an ice lemon tea and mushroom soup, or $4.50 for mushroom soup and any drink of your choice. Looking forward to eating here again.

Tasty food and friendly staff, but only two of them were handling a big crowd (we ordered at least 20 different meals). Despite the busyness, they remained nice and even drew smiley faces for us. The staff, Jin Jin and another chef, managed everything with a smile. Worth a visit, but they could use more help! They also provide vegetarian options.

The menu was easy to access and offered a wide range of items. Customer service was great. The mushroom soup paired with the garlic bread was nice. The Coke float was alright. I loved the finishing of the brownie with ice cream; it was an amazing combination. I wasn't really a fan of the bulky benches though...

the tree cafe is definitely one of the most affordale cafe in sg. price ranging below $10. the food

The Tree Cafe is definitely one of the most affordable cafes in SG, with prices ranging below $10. The food is nice and very reasonable for the price. There's no service charge and it's quite spacious. It's just outside Pasir Ris station in Downtown East, so it's very convenient if you bring your kids. The chic waffles, although a bit small in portion, are nice and I would say reasonable for the price. I would recommend this. Forgot to take photos because I was excited to eat!
