Went there 2 days ago. The food looks nice, but the taste hasn't changed since I last visited 8 years ago. It doesn't even taste Japanese; it's either too sweet or too salty. After I went home, I kept drinking water, which says a lot...

I got the Mt Fuji sukiyaki set, which comes with an onsen egg. I would say the ingredients do not taste the freshest; the beef was a little lean and tough. The variety in the pot was poor, with just some cabbage and beef, and none of the usual sukiyaki vegetables like mushrooms, tofu, or green onions. It also felt a little odd to serve an onsen egg in a sukiyaki set, as a raw egg for dipping the meat would have been more appropriate. I would say it serves to satisfy a sukiyaki craving as the broth is passable, but it lacks many core components for an authentic experience.

The standards here have dropped REALLY badly. Not only did we have to wait several minutes to get a table while the guy behind the cashier slowly counted his receipts (this was at 8:45pm), it seems food portions have shrunk ALOT. The chair was dirty too. I don't remember the scallops being this tiny or this few. Plus, the egg is overcooked....

Misleading pictures! Despite what was visually promised to be a heaping mountain of beef on the billboard, underneath the single layer of meat was nothing but cabbage. Calling it "cabbage soup with beef" would be more accurate! What's worse, the pot was way too small for the contents, so the soup started to overflow as the cabbage cooked and sunk inside. A waste of money. Don't come here.

Ordered food at 6:25 PM. It wasn't especially crowded. It took 45 minutes for all dishes to be served, especially the Spicy Tendon. The taste was acceptable, but the serving speed definitely has a lot of room for improvement. It didn't make for a great family dining experience.

The sliced beef ramen reminds me of the beef donburi at Yoshinoya. The soup tastes better than the previous Ajisen Ramen, though I hardly remember how that tasted.
Takoyaki and tea were simply ordinary, nothing much to comment on.
The pudding was surprisingly satisfying. It's not a masterpiece among its peers, but it's gentle and not overly flavoured, making it very suitable to mark an end to the meal without giving too much burden to the taste buds and stomach.
The only peculiar thing was the presence of Nasi Lemak and Mee Siam as seasonal limited dishes on the menu. I can understand this as a marketing trick associated with National Day, but I actually felt a bit hesitant to dine in when I saw the big banner promoting these two local foods in a Japanese brand eatery.

Ajisan came out with their Grilled Ramen. Awesome comfort food. Side dish too! Renovated ramen in AMK HUB. Service is good too! They saw our tea was almost empty and automatically topped it up for us.

It's actually not bad. The wait time wasn't very long. The spicy ramen was good; I tried both beef and chicken. The gyoza was okay, served with sweet chilli sauce. I preferred the gyoza over the takoyaki. I would skip the tenpo, though; I got the spicy tenpo but it was just average. Each set comes with a choice of hot or cold tea and your preferred side.

The staff was friendly and the food was good. We tried the set menu, so it was very value for money. Something different... good to try. I liked the volcano ramen a lot. If it could add a bit more chili, that would be best. I am so full after a yummy dinner. I will be going back to try other food.
