I typically only write food reviews when the food is bad. Whenever I visit West Coast Plaza, I always eat at this restaurant. The atmosphere here is actually good and clean. When ordering, I requested less salt and less oil. The staff member repeated my request but did not write it down. I saw her walk to the kitchen, perhaps just verbally relaying the instructions to the cook. It was a busy period. When I tasted the food, all three dishes were extremely salty. I asked the person who took my order why the food was salty, and the response was that she had informed the kitchen, which felt like a blame game. Do you think customers would accept this answer?

One of my family's favourite restaurants since it opened. However, the standard has definitely dropped a lot. We enjoyed the Oyster Omelette, Nyonya Ladyfinger, and Salted Egg Sotong. The Curry Sliced Fish and Golden Chicken were very average.

Yummy halal Peranakan food. Suitable for family gatherings and meals! Though the food might take some time and the kitchen is constantly busy, the staff are friendly and can carry a casual conversation. One of the male servers, whom we asked to help take our group photo, joked that he charges for the photos. Hahaha, which we then replied we will pay with food. He then goes on to talk about something else. Ahh, how refreshing it is to talk to our servers about things other than work! You can see they enjoy working there... We usually come here once a month with our family. Our favourite is their bestseller fish head curry! The curry soup is creamy and rich, with the fish head cooked to perfection and juicy flesh, making it absolutely delicious to go with white rice 😋. Their prawn paste chicken, oyster omelette, and hotplate tofu are amazing too! Don’t just hear it from us, try it for yourself!

The black pepper beef and sweet and sour chicken were very tasty and delicious. I would return for these dishes, but not the sambal kangkong, which was too oily. The spicy and sour soup also lacked authenticity.

We had a 10-person dinner set, with probably 8 courses (and we added one curry fish head). The servings were plentiful and the taste was well acceptable. The service was surprisingly good and attentive. The set also came with drinks, and the restaurant is Halal certified.
