I had dinner with my friends at Bedok Pepper Lunch. The part-timer, Jovan, was very nice and explained to us how to order the food. However, the place was SUPER HOT, as if the air conditioning wasn't on. So, I went to the cashier to buy a drink. I believe it was a manager, wearing a grey uniform, who I spoke to. I gave him some feedback: 'Your air conditioning seems like it's not on.' He just replied that it is on. The way he responded made it seem like he was accustomed to the situation and couldn't do anything. Hello, I'm not eating at a coffee shop; I'm eating in a mall restaurant. Overall, I feel the part-timer did a better job than the manager.

Came for lunch, but left with only lunch. Special mention to that rude auntie behind the counter.
Horrible waiting time as we waited 45 minutes for our food, despite there being no lunch crowd when we initially arrived. Minimal explanation was given, and no updates were provided on when we would receive our lunch.
We ordered via QR code, made payment, and received our e-receipt, but the food didn't arrive after 30 minutes. We asked a waiter and other staff for updates but received vague replies like 'the place is experiencing high volume' and 'it hasn't appeared in the system.' One of the most triggering things was seeing people who arrived later than us receive their food first, while we were left with a completely empty table.
One particular auntie behind the counter (short hair and black uniform) rudely told me not to come to the counter and ask them. She said they were preparing the food and mentioned something about our food not showing up on their screens (her tone was just bad overall).
If I don't ask her, who should I ask? I asked the waiter, who told me to ask the counter. I asked the counter, and the auntie said not to come to the counter.
After 45 minutes, the assistant manager, Angela, came in to save the day. She prepared our food for takeaway almost instantly and apologized profusely.
You all should appreciate and thank Angela for holding the fort; otherwise, we would have been incredibly pissed about the bad service and attitude we received.
The least the other staff could have done was help us check if our order was received when we asked, but it wasn't done. It seems they were just shirking responsibility by displaying an 'idk' vibe and redirecting us to other staff instead.

Did not enjoy my dinner. The plates were not at the required heat, and the meat was cut too thick, making it difficult to cook. Additionally, many flies were disturbing during the meal, possibly due to the open kitchen and food not being cleared promptly. The staff seemed to stand around clueless. This was my first and last time visiting this outlet.

The environment of this restaurant is poorly designed. It's very noisy — the sound of customers talking and the sizzling of the teppanyaki is so loud that it feels uncomfortable.
The whole place is enclosed and filled with an oily smoke smell, so after dining, it felt no different from eating hotpot or barbecue. The tables are also very close to each other.
Overall, the dining experience was not very good. The food was about the same as other outlets — just average.

Totally not recommend visiting after their renovation. The waitress and waiter claimed I didn't put my number buzzer on the table after I asked them to check my bill. Worst service ever!
