4 Fingers Crispy Chicken has revolutionized Singapore's fried chicken scene by introducing authentic Korean-style fried chicken with a halal-certified twist. Founded on the philosophy of serving hand-brushed, crispy chicken with bold Asian flavors, the restaurant has quickly become a favorite among food lovers across the island. Their Clementi outlet, located at 321 Clementi Ave 3, is part of a growing chain that has made Korean fried chicken culture accessible to Muslim diners throughout Singapore. The restaurant's commitment to quality is evident in their use of free-range chicken and their refusal to use MSG or preservatives, ensuring that customers can enjoy their meals with peace of mind.
What sets 4 Fingers apart from other fried chicken establishments is their unique preparation method and signature sauces. Every piece of chicken is individually coated and hand-brushed with their famous soy garlic or spicy sauce, ensuring consistent flavor and quality in every bite. The menu extends beyond just wings and drumsticks, offering creative options like crispy seafood including calamari and shrimps, Asian rice boxes, and their innovative kimslaw – a fusion of kimchi and coleslaw that's fermented on-site daily. This attention to detail and innovation has made them particularly popular among families and young professionals looking for quality fast-casual dining options that offer more than just standard fried chicken.
The restaurant's vibrant, contemporary Asian-inspired interior creates an inviting atmosphere that appeals to all age groups, making it an ideal spot for family outings, casual dates, or quick meals with friends. Their party platters and combo meals have made them a popular choice for gatherings and celebrations, while their efficient service and consistent quality have earned them a loyal customer base. With multiple outlets across Singapore, 4 Fingers has successfully positioned itself as a leader in the halal Korean fried chicken market, offering a unique dining experience that combines the best of Korean culinary traditions with local preferences and halal dietary requirements.

I was in the area and noticed there were seats available at Four Fingers, so I decided to go in. I ordered the boneless chicken rice bento combo for $11.50, but the combo only included a drink, not fries. The portion was just 5 small pieces of chicken, which didn't feel worth the price at all. I wasn't informed that the combo did not include fries.
Separately, the cashier was not transparent with another customer. She ordered coffee, intending to swap her soft drink for coffee, but the cashier didn't inform her that it couldn't be changed. She only realized after being given the paper cup and had to ask. It was then that she was told drinks cannot be swapped. The lack of flexibility and communication made the experience feel unfriendly.
Overall, the food was average for the price, not good value for money, and the service could have been clearer and more customer-oriented.

Ordered the signature mix regular meal, which consists of 3 wings, fries, and a drink ($11.90). The chicken skin was flavourful, but the meat was bland. The seaweed fries were average. The chicken tasted better when hot; it wasn't as nice when cold. The standard has dropped over the years.

Shrunken chicken! The price has increased, but the chicken size is TINY, I'm not even kidding! The fries were not hot or fresh, and I think they changed the recipe for the fries a while back (they used to be nice and tasty, but now they're just generic frozen fries). Tables are dirty everywhere, as there doesn't seem to be a staff member dedicated to cleaning. The only saving grace is that the lady at the counter was lovely and patient.

A far cry from what they used to be. The chicken isn't really crispy anymore, with a layer of fat below the skin. The spicy chicken is also spicier than I remembered. When they first opened in the Orchard area, the chicken wings were divine: crispy with a satisfying crunch and no visible layer of fat, really tasty. I still like the soy garlic flavour the most. I don't frequent it much after the drop in standards several years back because now they just taste like any other Korean-inspired fried chicken.

The food is good, but the soggy fries are terrible. Who in their right mind would tie up two packets of hot french fries in a plastic bag? Even the paper bag holding the fries is wet and disintegrating.

Tried the fried chicken and wings. There's a sweet/spicy sauce on top (similar to Korean style fried chicken?) and the rice is also really good! A great choice when you're tired of KFC or McDonald's!

Tried the BFF burger combo for takeaway for the first time today. The chicken meat was very succulent and the bun was nice and soft. The seaweed fries were also very tasty.
The cashier and staff were very patient, even though we encountered some payment issues. They were apologetic for the hold-up, and I thought their service was fantastic.

Love 4Fingers' winglets and drumettes. Can't get enough of them. I always order their mixed variety but I lean towards the spicy ones. The crispiness, saltiness, and spiciness are perfect. They're still crispy even when ordered for delivery via Grab.
Today, we tried their cheesy bimbap. Loved it. It's not too cheesy, so one can finish it on its own. My daughter loves the cheesy chicken too.
6 pieces of winglets and drumettes for me? That's never enough! We ordered 18 pieces for my husband and me to share. Satisfaction is always guaranteed (provided it's payday though, as it's quite expensive given it's only wings divided into two).

Wow! I had my dinner last night at 4Fingers J8. The fried chicken with hot sauce and kimchi fries tasted really good. It was very fresh when I bit into it. I really enjoyed it. The counter staff, Jeeva, was very polite and friendly when taking orders, even on a busy day. I was very happy with her service. Will come back again! ❤️ Good job, team. Keep it up.

Even though I've heard about 4 Fingers for years, this is the first time I've passed by and visited one. Boy, if not for the fantastically-cooked and tasty chicken that I chomped down here, it's the unsurpassed service from its staff at this Bishan outlet that won my heart over...
My first order: Not wanting to be too adventurous on my first outing, I had the BFF Chicken Burger meal, complete with a small serving of fries and a self-serve non-refillable soda of choice. With an additional SGD 2, I had a piece of not-on-the-menu, plain, deep-fried chicken drumstick.
The lightly-salted fries were hot to the bite, crisp on the outside, and soft and mushy on the inside... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ There's hope.
On the (plain) drumstick... Too hot to hold (which is a good sign for me), and too good to be eaten... The lightly-salted flour coating was light, but turned out crispy to the bite. Still piping hot, the collagenous clear chicken jus oozed out to my pure delight, again on the second bite, and again on the third bite... Personally, I've gone to chicken heaven. (Yes, better than McDonald's, better than KFC and Texas Chicken, and on par with Popeyes and Jollibee.). ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
A shame I did not take any photos.
The second order: On recommendation from the floor manageress, I tried 4 Fingers' latest seasonal extra spicy Mala deep-fried 3 piece chicken drumsticks with rice.
Presented in an army mess tin -- gosh, not seen one for at least 30 years(!) - the Mala deep-fried chicken was a bit of a letdown. Apart from just the spiciness, although from my perspective, it was just mere spicy, the quintessential Szechuan Mala-ness that most people are familiar with (yes, including Malays with the very popular Halal Lanzhou Beef Noodles) was ABSENT!
For the rice, extremely well-cooked and semi al dente of North Asian variety, unfortunately it was drowned with too much of their house-made sweet soya sauce, which made the rice too salty and sickeningly sweet to eat.
Then came the saving grace and 4 Fingers angel in disguise! The floor manageress asked me how my food was, and I slapped her with my humblest opinion.
Being gracious and accepting, she took my food and returned with another--this time, with plain deep-fried chicken drumsticks and rice lightly drenched with their house-made sauce. Once again, I died and went to chicken heaven. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Throughout, not just the floor manageress, but the entire set of staff, attendants and cooks in the swelteringly hot kitchen were extremely courteous to me. Thanks, ladies! ❤️❤️❤️
Good food, great people! Signatures of success.
P.S. Later I learned that the manageress whom I mentioned in my review above is a floor staff. Her name was Nora. You know what? Kudos to Nora. She had no airs, but treated me like she owned 4 Fingers. She knew her food offered at 4 Fingers, coordinated her colleagues well, and was ultra personable with the customers. (To the management, if you felt that Nora shouldn't have switched the chicken that I had, do not chastise her for it. Please contact me and I will happily pay for that replacement. Thanks!)
