Very bad rojak from the drinks stall. The staff has no pride in their work, so the you-tiao are cold and hard. This is because the staff are too lazy to heat and toast them before mixing in the sauce.

Don’t bother with the Ayam Bakar stall. The chicken was totally cold and tasteless. It was grilled over and over until it became hard, cold, and tasteless. Even the rice was cold. For $7.20, I got lousy food. I will not come again.

I bought a few dishes yesterday evening around 6pm. 1) Carrot cake - The worst I have ever eaten, plus it had a lot of shells. Threw it away. 2) Char kway teow - The worst I have ever eaten, with no taste. Threw it away. 3) Ayam penyet - The chicken was good, but the tahu & tempe goreng was stale, like it was cooked 2 to 3 days ago. 4) Popiah has no complaints. 5) Clayton sesame chicken has no complaints. This is the first time I am buying food from here, but it was really bad. I had to order food for my family again once I got back home. Seriously speaking, I will not go there to buy again. This time round, I will certainly report them to SFA with proof, as I strongly feel this is an ongoing issue there. Let the Authority handle them, as the public can't do much.

The Teh Halia is made from a pre-packaged mix rather than freshly brewed. The clay pot rice has too much water and doesn’t taste like authentic clay pot rice. Stalls operating in tourist attractions should maintain a certain standard to allow tourists to experience the original taste of clay pot rice.

The drink stall lady was extremely rude. She got my order wrong but still wanted to argue. It's understandable to make mistakes, but it's another thing to make a mistake and be unreasonable with the customer when it's your own fault. Management should focus on training staff on proper etiquette for handling issues when things don't go right. A terrible experience.

One of my favorite food courts! Boleh² is a Malaysian hawker-themed food court that serves delicious hawker food such as prawn mee, chili ban mian, blue rice nasi lemak, claypot rice, and nasi padang. There is no pork or lard, and most of the stalls have halal certificates. The food court's decor is reminiscent of kampung hawkers in Malaysia.

Boleh Boleh in HarbourFront Centre is a solid spot for a humble Singaporean breakfast. The claypot chicken rice and sesame ginger chicken are definite winners—flavorful, comforting, and worth coming back for. Even the tea from Kopi Satu is decent. The only letdown? The bread, which was just… there. Locals love this place, and for good reason—prices are a steal compared to restaurant meals. It's a simple, satisfying meal. Cleanliness is decent enough, but bring tissue and wet wipes just in case.

A lively hawker-style food court with a great variety of Malaysian and local dishes. The nostalgic décor and casual vibe make it feel like an old-school street food spot. I tried the prawn mee and Assam laksa—both were flavorful and satisfying. The char kway teow and chicken char siew noodles are also popular picks here. It’s a pork-free food court, so everything is cooked with chicken or vegetable oil, making it inclusive and halal-friendly. Prices are reasonable, but it can get a little busy during peak hours, and seating can feel a bit cramped. Overall, it's a nice place for affordable, fuss-free Malaysian-style hawker food in Clementi Mall.
Merryland
A food court located on the ground floor of Harbourfront building, near the exit link to VivoCity. It offers a huge array of primarily Malaysian hawker food. We are very particular about food quality, and it turned out that everything we bought was yummy – Penang fried kueh teow, Asam laksa, prawn noodle soup, Poh piah, rojak, etc. Worthwhile to come back!
